I have the same breakfast 7 days a week. I just dump a protein shake in my coffee. It’s 160 calories and 30 grams of protein.

Lower your standards. I’m serious. Don’t aim to perfect your yoga poses, aim to get through. Don’t aim to be perfect at eating under some strict goal, just stay under your maintenance calories. Maintenance calories mean you won’t gain and you won’t lose. Throw out one thing in your apartment that’s clutter. Fold one load…

Thank you! I’m definitely motivated right now. It’s super exciting!

What are you dietary restrictions? What foods are you allergic to?
-
Can I ask what is your gross calories? Not subtracting your exercise calories from the amount of food. How many calories are you are at there, just total amount consumed? How tall are you? Are you logging your food by gram? Weighing out portions by gram? I’m glad you are here! This absolutely works! You can do it! 💪

I think some of that is regional. I used to live in the Midwest, central Indiana all my life. We have lived in Florida for the past nearly 6 years and the amount of old, old people who are living active full lives is just lovely. I see them when I’m walking my dogs riding their bikes, running, walking their little dogs… It…

Tighten up your logging. Measure with a gram scale and log every single thing you put in your mouth, with the exception of water. I suspect some sneaky calories in sauces, drinks, off portions sizes etc are the problem. It’s easy to have a little miscalculation somewhere that’s undoing your deficit.

I think it sounds right, and I also would not do a dramatic cut if you are also healing. Recovery from surgery requires it’s own consideration. I hope you feel better soon! 💐

Thank you! ❤️

Well, I put up the hurricane panels and packed up the outdoors, patio and play equipment today with my 22 year old son and … yeah, that’s like a night and day difference from years past with a 100 pound weight loss. I am strong. I am flexible as hell and yeah, I can’t believe how absolutely capable I am. We worked from 6…

You have already gotten good advice here, but I wanted to add a suggestion. I’m highly active and I have days I need more food, especially if I have a bunch of unlogged exercise or I had a couple of under- eating days. Like my body is screaming “nourish me”. You have your calorie goal, your exercise calories, and then you…

Hey Mike! It seems like you are in a rough place nutrition wise. Have you asked to see a registered dietitian? They may be able to help guide you a little. The good news is CICO can be any kind of foods. Set up a not super aggressive goal and stay inside the calorie goal and you will lose weight. 👍. I’m specifically saying…

And I know the whoosh is coming because I’m literally physically smaller. I’m close to being under 200 pounds!…

Feeling ravenous is no fun. Feeling like you can’t eat anything you enjoy is also pretty rough. You don’t need to do anything extreme to lose weight. I’m down over 100 pounds and I absolutely refuse to starve myself. Be kind to yourself. All you need to do to lose weight is to create a deficit. Just a deficit, any deficit…

My most recent NSV is my 20 year old was helping my 5 year old find me last night & she brought him to our sunroom where I have my home gym set up. She was tell him “See? What did I say? If you ever can’t find mommy just come look back here because she is exercising.” Just having the people around you expect you to be…

You got such excellent information from two people I respect so greatly here. It’s good advice already, I just wanted to pipe in with… I’m going to be 46 in a few weeks. I’ve lost 106 pounds on here, much closer to having lost 120 from my highest medically recorded weight… all in my 40’s. It’s possible for anyone. Calorie…

Congratulations! That’s a nice accomplishment. I bet you felt awesome in your new outfit! 😊

Don’t fast. What you are describing sounds like an eating disorder in the making. There is no shortcut to weight loss. There is no magic combination of foods. No secret portions, pills or powders. You just eat less than you burn and you will lose weight! With all loving kindness, you don’t have to do anything extreme. Just…

I debated posting as I’m in a mood this morning due to being unable to walk in the fresh air because of a creepy man in a car following me at a snails pace for the second damn day in a row 😡 but anyway… and I’m approaching this directly from you saying addiction. Not someone wondering if they can have one hamburger a week…

Thank you both! ❤️❤️❤️

Well, guys, I’m down over 100 pounds on here and closer to down 120 from my highest weight ( scale related & not the NSV, just a reference point) and this morning, my husband said “you’ve got a whole new body. You have literally transformed yourself entirely. You are working so hard and you are doing it! I’m so proud of…

Absolutely! Just keep going. 💪

Go for it! I’ve worn contacts since I was like 14 years old no matter my weight and I like them. Give it a shot!

I tailor my pants. I have a sewing machine and sew a v in two places in the back above the pocket to give a better fit. If you don’t sew, you can also cut two little slits on the inside of the waistband on the back. You can then run a piece of elastic in the little tunnel you cut and safety pin it as tight as you need it.…
