I no longer eat the same. I wish I could. I'm hungry a lot. But I wait it out and drink water.

My calorie goal should be 1210 not 1710. I don't eat that many Cals. I tried upping my Cals and started gaining instead of losing. With 1210 I have at least gotten to 156 which I haven't seen in like four years.

No I'm not diabetic but the weight isn't coming off near as fast as it did 8 years ago when I lost 40 lbs and kept it off for almost 5 years.

No blood work. No test. I did ask if it's true my age slowed my ability to lose weight. She said yes. I put on my goal jeans yesterday. Got them up got them buttoned and zipped. They were TIGHT....but damn my *kitten* looked great! Lol. I could have worn them all day but I don't wanna stress the button or zipper but it sure felt good to put them on again!!!

It is an accomplishment to resist the sweet temptations. But I would also start to think on how to incorporate real food that YOU prepare into your plans for the future. Nutri system is a start but not a viable "long term lifelong" option. Way to go on staying within your caps though.

Was there a learning curve for you to prepare meals this way. In trying to stay away from carbs but when I think of what to cook I inevitably go back to the meats, starch, veggie combo. I rarely, and when I say rarely it's more like never drink fruit juices as they are equivalent to soda, which I also don't drink. But I juice beets, carrot, celery, cucumbers, lime, spinach a half orange half Apple.

I was mostly concern about the spike in blood sugar. Yes even from veggies. Just want to keep it clean and healthy.
