I could go into a hyperglycemic coma if I eat these. It might be worth it.

A coworker and I swap protein bars in the interest of discovery. I just ordered the Built Bar sample pack, and we're splitting one each day to taste test. We'll post the results when completed. Even the chocolate mint one, though I'm not looking forward to that one anymore... :s

I didn't make this, and I can't remember who did, but it's pretty good.

Congrats on deciding to change your lifestyle and begin this work! I'm sure others will chime in, but here are some things I've experienced along the way: 1. This a journey, not a race. It took me a year and a half to lose 80 lbs. at 1lb/week. During that time... 2. Sometimes I lost 1 pound/week, sometimes 3 pounds/week,…

I'm 5'3", around 130 - 135 lbs. I eat 1400/day + 70% of my exercise calories, and for the past two years I seemed to maintain pretty well. I'm also 45 years old, so I may have to eat less than someone younger...

I'm pretty sure there's some sort of negative karmic consequences every time a FitCrunch bar is eaten--like, a fairy dies or something. I don't know how they make them so good yet not a million calories. Which big box store? $1/bar is pretty good!

Bump--this should be on the FAQ; very comprehensive!

What @kommodevaran said: If you're prediabetic or diabetic, or have a family history of diabetes, sugar is sugar and it's all relevant. If your body metabolizes sugar just fine, and it looks like that's going to be true in your future, you can concentrate on other things.
