That's true! I noticed way more change at my natural waist. I'm hoping as my natural waist gets slimmer that I will look overall slimmer in my midsection. And as for your second point, that's what I wonder for myself too :) thanks!

I suppose I'm pessimistic because I already lost 23lbs which resulted in a 2 inch loss at my waist only, and that's what I'm expecting again. You're deffo right about the genetic part though. My grandma, mum and sister and I all have the same body type :(

I get that. But there was no calorie deficit... My calorie target is 1200 and I usually reach it -or go a bit over - when I'm being very healthy and strict with myself. If, like this past 2 weeks, I'm eating 700 calories worth of junk food each day plus my usual meals, I'm obviously going way over my limit. So I'm still…

Thank you all for the responses, I feel so much better after reading them :) I realised yesterday that I wasn't weighing *all* of my food and that meant I was logging way fewer calories than I was actually eating! So I've changed that now. Also, weighed myself this morning and I am 2lbs down from yesterday! Happy happy.
