I also have shin pains, I started realizing it at week 4 of C25k. Before buying anything, you should go to the doc. There are several possibilitys why your shins are hurting. When I went to the doctor, she checked my legs, my knees, the way I walk. She also x-rayed my back to check it there. So far, I don't have a solution…

Weight is quite a complicated indicator, especially in the beginning. Some drop an enormous amout in the first weeks, other stay the same. Measurements, photos and cloths that might fit better are way better indicators :) just as an idea! Keep up the good work!

Happens. Try having a light dinner with lots of veggies and try to keep the rest of the day as good as possible. Maybe go for an extra walk, if it makes you feel better. Don't skip any meals, please! It happens. To all of us. Tomorrow will be better! (edit: I forgot a word...)

Are you weighing _ALL_ your food and logging it properly? Other thing: have you taken any pictures or measurements? I gained 8lbs in the 4 weeks after I started running thanks to water, so this might also be a thing

What about tea? If you don't like hot beverages to your meals, you can prepare "cold tea" by just making normal tea and putting it in the fridge for some hours.

I lifted for half a year - and stopped because I just didn't enjoy it. :) But I recommend it to everone who hasn't tried it already.
