I think it depends how you feel about the scale, and if it will have a negative or positive impact on you. I weigh every morning, but more out of interest (I keep a separate record just because I'm a spreadsheet junkie). I would suggest not overwhelming yourself doing it all at once - one step at a time instead of trying to climb the whole mountain in one go. I feel your pain, I do! But honestly, just stick with it, once you get over the initial bump it gets easier. Also, you can exercise more to earn more calories - and as a bonus get all the happy, happy endorphins :smile:

I ate what I wanted (within reason) but logged all the calories. Don't deprive yourself on your birthday - feeling deprived always breaks down my will power! Remember you've earned it :smile:
