  • I've made a ton of progress and need the extra support to lose that last ten pounds or so! I workout so I can eat! Add me
  • Just started using the UP3 after my UP 24 died. I've noticed my steps are WAYY lower... I don't know it's because it's more accurate or missing lots of my steps. I guess with weight loss goals, it's better to underestimate activity that overestimate it --- but I still wish my steps were more precise.
  • Hey a break sounds good! I think I'm going to keep pushing.. going on vacation in a month and was going to take a break then. Thanks!
  • I have a desk job. I gained a ton of weight my first few weeks working here because all I did was sit on my butt AND go out to lunch every day with my co-workers. Yuck! Now I work out as much as I can before work. Can't do the lunch time break thing because I want to shower. Also, my rule for myself is that I eat super…
  • Very frustrating!! I went to my UP app to find my estimated burn and I will use that to make an adjustment for today.
  • I LOVE junk food. I think the key is to find healthier alternatives or just indulging in much smaller portions. Some of my favorite healthy snacks that I think taste amazing: - Watermelon or other fruit with chile powder and lime. This may sound weird but it's absolutely amazing. The sweet and spicy is so flavorful. I'm…
  • Olive oil is great! Healthy fat! Plus it has calories but it's way lower than normal dressing. I use olive oil, fresh squeezed lemon and pepper. So good!!
  • I also find if you're really stuck with fast food just order a kid's meal. The potion size is WAY more accurate.
  • Exactly. The green scores always kinda bug me. Sometimes I know I had a pretty healthy meal and the score isn't great. It's just kinda annoying.
  • Thanks so much for all the help!! My calorie adjustment finally did pop up last night. Glad I got the Jawbone so I can get a true measurement on my activity level. Thanks again.
  • Thanks. That makes more sense. How do I know what my "deficit" is? I did set MFP to 1lb/week so that may be the difference. So if my MFP activity level is at 1,920 and UP predicts 1,960... Then I would just get a tiny adjustment of 40, right? What's kind of bumming me out is that I did a little workout today to burn 200…
  • Thanks!! I friended you earlier because I saw how helpful your posts were! I'm not sure why I'm not seeing an adjustment in my diary for my UP. Here's my stats at the moment: Per UP: 1,642 actual burned calories so far 1,961 estimated total calorie burn for the day 1,262 calories consumed (info from MFP) Per MFP: 1,420 set…
  • Good luck you got this!!
  • Thanks gardenprayer!
