New to MyFitnessPal. I've been wanting to get in shape for awhile now but I just haven't been able to say no to all my cravings. My boyfriend eats whatever he wants and when I'm with him, it's hard not to do the same!! It was just hard to have motivation to change because I simply didn't want to give up my favorite foods.

Went to the doctor recently and I was shocked to hear my weight. Shocked and so disappointed in myself. That day I download this app and have been following it ever since. I love it because I can still enjoy eating... I'm just more cautious of what I'm putting into my body. For once I feel like I can actually do this!! I like that I can occasionally indulge as long as I still stay on track.

It's been a week and I've lost 2.5 pounds. I'm excited but I hope that's not just from using two different scales. I'm anxious to see what my weight is in another week.

Not sure how this friend thing works on here but I'm open to any encouragement!! I want to stick to this!!
