  • How do I erase my past log ins? I want to start over.
  • I lost 25 lbs last year with MFP but quit and have gained back 15. I have to get back on track. Today's the day!
  • Your bio is exactly mine! I lost 30 lbs last year but got too complacent. I have put back on 10 lbs and am ready to get healthy (and thinner) forever! Can I add you as a friend?
  • I feel I need to log my weight each day whether up or down. It's psychological I know but I need to record the weight when it's up so I feel, "oh I better watch it today. I should have skipped the 30oz bag of candy bars  MFP will say I lost the same weight that I just gained so I don't want my MFP friends to think…
  • Yikes is right! I did ok on fri and sat but Sunday was way off. I ate like my old self and I know I'll pay for it. I feel sooo fat tonight. I'm not quitting. Tomorrow it's back to work and healthy eating schedule. My goal this week is to get back where I was and maybe a bit more. There are no holidays or special days…
  • Thank you EVERYONE for the support and encouragement. I don't burn many calories a day exercising but I starting walking this week. It's something and I'm ok with it. It's prob so few calories burned I don't even log it. It gets me puffing when I go uphill so it's good for my lungs. My saddlebags are sore when I'm done so…
  • Way to go! Keep at it!
  • I'm soooo sorry all. The article about the govt changing the weight of a pound was an April fools joke but I didnt have time to read to the bottom of the article. We all know exercise and diet work!
  • I just read an article from our govt. "since people can't lose weight just by diet and exercise, we need to do something to control the obesity problem. So we are changing the value of a pound. Now a pound will be 1.1. Someone weighing 167 will now weigh 152." WHAT? We know losing can be done with diet and exercise! How…
  • Someone I love very much just jumped my case for something I didn't do. My first reaction was "that is so unfair.... Where's the chocolate?" I decided NOT to hurt myself just because of others. I did pop a bag of popcorn to chomp on. I'm not perfect!
  • Thanks to all my MFP friends who have helped me along the way. Sharing your success and failure has helped me know I'm not the only one who struggles. I'm so excited knowing my goal is attainable. Being in the 120s hasnt even crossed my mind. Maybe that will be my new goal! Have you looked at your progress chart? Notice it…
  • Guess it was ok to eat late.... I'm down today! I'm extra tired so my body wad digesting food instead of resting :{
  • So I got home from work late and wasn't sure if it was ok to eat supper 2 hrs before bed. I had plenty of calories left for thd day. I'm afraid I will pay for it on the scale. I could have gone without supper but then I get "warned" I'm not eating enough. Any thoughts for next time?
  • Happy Friday! I was up .5 this am. I ate right and exercised yesterday. I figure it is salt or hormones . My progress chart in MFP is up and down so no worries.
  • The reward for eating right must be greater than the enjoyment of eating wrong. On weigh-in day, the reward is much greater. :)
  • Colleen, keep going!
  • My doctor told me to lose my 30 lbs over 2 years . This way it is a lifestyle. There is nothing wrong with losing slowly. I say to you hip hip hurray !
  • Welcome aboard . I wish I would have measured but skirts that were too tight now fit so that's my proof. MFP really works. I lost 20 lbs in 4 months. During the holidays I ate whatever whenever and gained 7 back. I'm back on track now. One of the keys is to log your food every day even if you go over. It makes you aware of…
  • Every little bit counts ! quote="superraachel;31704398"]Small loss this week, but a loss none the less![/quote]
  • Today is free ice cream cones at Dairy Queen . My family just stopped at Dairy Queen and I gave my free cone to my son. I want a flat stomach more than I want ice cream.
  • I'm in it til the end! Some weeks are up some down but the key is to keep going. I had an awful week 2 weeks ago but I stuck with it, adjusted my eating habits, and this last weigh in was great!
  • Jemcad13 on the biggest loser they exercise and build muscles while eating healthy but you really don't see a diff right away. those muscles burn fat. Hang in there. Results don't happen overnight or even weeks but measure results over months and years.
  • I went for a walk....as slow as a turtle walking in peanut butter..... No not really but I heard that and it made me laugh. I went for a 25 minute walk. I know it was good for me cause I was puffing when I got back and my legs were telling me I hadn't done that in a while! I'm hoping for a great weigh in tomorrow to make…
  • I have lost all my pre holiday weight. I'm excited to keep going. Today I weighed less than I was 4 years ago . Thanks to all my friends at MFP who let me think out loud and encourage me not to quit. Headed into another weekend AND spring break so I'll be home more. quote="huango;31671291"]I lost 5.6pounds since 2/4/15…
  • Way to go!
  • When I told my doctor I wanted to lose 30 lbs he told me to eat 1500 cal/day and take 2 years to lose the weight. It will become a lifestyle change after two years. Good luck and welcome aboard
  • Great meal ideas thanks.you can do this. I blew it over the weekend but have lost that weight and moving forward.
  • Failure is when you fall and DONT get back up!you are a success for trying again
  • Of course the very best is salad a plateful is only 50 calories plus dressing. Chicken breast can be put in glass pan with a bit of water cover with Saran Wrap and microwave for 3 min or so. Cut up and put on salad . Taco salad is good too. Make your salad, sprinkle a bit of meat no cheese or beans of course and use salsa…
  • I was doing great until the weekend. I TOTALLY blew it! Yes, I recorded my failure on the doc . I WILL get back on track this week. Nicer weather so I can go for a walk.
