I resolve to stop judging the poor grammar choices of people who claim to have high level educations and professional careers. Oh wait, I don't believe in New Year's resolutions :grimace:

A few posts above, you said eating outside of a plant and water based diet made one susceptible to ingesting toxins...I would ask you the same question .

I think this is well said. When you work in healthcare, you encounter people all the time who are being told by a doctor they WILL die if they don't change their behavior. While this works for some people, I often find myself shaking my head and saying, "You're right, it's YOUR life," because people don't want to be scared…

How does one measure better lymph drainage, exactly?

I've heard claims that rebounding cures cancer, too. It's amazing what people will believe.

I know patients who have actually had to have this procedure for C-dif. I think they will skip Christmas next year!

I don't have children, but there have been a few things in our family that have been exceptionally emotional and stressful this season. OP, hang in there. Enjoy the good moments and take the rest out at the gym. I'm doing to best to consider my holiday indulgence as just one more little hill to climb, but you're not alone…

There are a lot of people who utilize IF as a diet plan. It is far from unique to Isagenix and definitely not developed by it. I would be willing to bet that just about any IF study I pulled out would show positive results just like Isagenix, but your lack of provision of any decent science or full text article is telling…
-
And IF is Intermittent Fasting, from the title of the study.
-
It concluded in March 2015 actually and besides Isagneix fliers, the results aren't readily available on the government trials website. Happen to have the full text?
-
The only thing it proved was that IF is effective. The study was very poorly designed, unfortunately, and despite the claims, it really fails to show anything about Isagenix in and of itself.
-
Has the Skidmore study been published yet? There were no results reported by the government based on their clinical trial submission.
-
Yup, quoted straight off the website. If you read the article, though, it's a study piloted by UIC about IF and the effects of using a liquid substitute as part of a diet. It's strongly biased though because the same results have been achieved over and over across fields of nutrition for decades by restricting calories. It…

Let me clarify that statement actually before I get jumped on. They have a research team that purports to provide clinical analysis of the results of the products, but none of them are peer reviewed and the article that is often considered by Isagenix as peer reviewed IS in a peer reviewed journal, but Isagenix admitted to…
-
Isagenix themselves admit they have produced no such studies.

Since everyone loses at a different rate based on so many different factors, you might have more success finding supportive friends if it's not a competition :)

Yes. Over hydration is possible and can lead to hyponatremia.

I can't fathom spending that kind of money with a company making health claims that doesn't have a single published study. I don't even spend that much on medications I actually need.
