I am 4'11" and was 252lbs at the start of Jan, if I was gonna do it all over again I would not eat at 1200kcal. I don't now at 165lbs. It's torture and not needed for people as large as I was to lose weight, it practically melted off for the first 4 months.

It sounds yummy, however that picture looks rather like a rotting corpse  , yikes!

I haven't been able to view any groups using chrome on my android phone for some time now. Quite annoying :-(

4'11" and having about 1600 to lose about 1-1.5lbs per week.

I would tend to agree with you here. My mother has battled anorexia on and off for all of my life, she knows she's very thin but still wants to be thinner.

I've never been asked for my weight or BMI when getting health insurance. Try not to be to butt-hurt, obese is obese. Like others said, the chest pains were probably what made him say morbidly obese. I started out with a BMI of 52 in Jan so I was well used to my adipose tissue being described by health professionals in…

Thank you for the explanation - I always thought they were referring to children's clothing, now I know better

Pity about the pictures being narked about, they were thoroughly enjoyable!

That is good, I'm glad you have good control. I wasn't trying to cheat or had planned on it, I have an eating disorder and often go into a frenzy. I haven't had any counselling for a long while and it is starting to show. Self-loathing is at an all time high. I don't think it's particularly helpful to imply stupidity on my…

Your clothing sizes sound so confusing, what are misses and junior? At they for little girls? I'm 4'11", 164lbs and wear a New Zealand/UK size 16, which is a 12 as far as I know in the USA.

Soo much amazingness going on here! These 'befores' are screenshots from a video when I had asked someone to film me doing pushups and squats to check my form. I was not even at my largest! I put on another 10kg/20lbs after this. I don't even know how I walked. Lost about 89ish lbs I think, I work in kilos. About…

2lbs a week sounds blardy good to me, well done. Do you have microsoft office? Maybe look at the myfitnesspal data export tool. If you enjoy numbers it is pretty fun.

I do not have any "this is how I want to be when I am done" size clothes, because I have no idea what size I will be when I am done with my weight loss. I sometimes get something in one size smaller. P.S I also have to buy pants to fit my legs, and they are baggy around my lower back. We all have funny shapes and clothing…

Very cool, thanks for sharing. I think you look amazing :-)

The flour I came across wasn't for human consumption, I have no idea who they are thinking will eat it then!

I thought about it, but I have binge eating disorder and I feel it will lead to a destructive period of fasting and overeating.

I never had to see a dietician, and wouldn't even if referred by my GP. I have seen a couple for my daughter and the advice doesn't gel with my way of thinking - I was only offered counselling here for my BED which helped immensely. I am not sure how a dietician could really help with a compulsion to eat and a…

Woohoo, well done you! I can't wait to hit overweight also. I have been obese class 3, 2 and now 1 (started with a BMI of 52). My BMI is 33 right now so a bit still to go.

Congratulations on your diagnosis, I got mine this year also. In regard to what other people think, you can't base your self-worth on the opinions of others. There is no need to question yourself because someone else has - I know it's hard. This helps me when I get into that thought pattern:…

Well back on the road to low carb heaven, thanks everyone for your help :-). Weight is down 2kg, another 2 to get back to where it was last Saturday morning. @KnitOrMiss I'll see if that kombucha stuff is available in New Zealand, thank you! Those rum balls look delicious, also unsure about the products used to make them…

I LOVE the smell.

It is an interesting train of thought. I know my grandmother takes some sort of anti-sodium medication for high blood pressure, it doesn't seem to do her any good/difference at all. She tried keto recently, went from a regular amount of carbs to 20 per day overnight (bad idea!), combined with these tablets and not eating…

Kids are meant to have their teeth brushed by an adult until at least 8 years of age, so my sons dental nurse says. Before then they lack the skill to do a good job. I think a lot of teeth stuff is just pure good luck, I didn't look after mine for many many years and haven't seen a dentist since I was about 7 (I'm almost…

Wow! That is pretty cool. I'm not sure how I would even get that much sodium a day, unless I ate salt from the salt shaker directly. How did he advise getting all the sodium? I had 5g of Lo-Salt (one of those sodium and potassium mix thingies) yesterday in a glass of water and it was hard to swallow!

Gorgeous schnauzer! I have about 20kg to go also, probably more. I enjoy the WOE but can't wait till my kids are old enough for school so I can work and afford better foods.

I think the exercise that kittensmaster does far exceeds the effort most people put into any sort of weight lifting anyway, unless some of us are secretly Ilya Ilyin or something...

I ran out of test strips, but mine is usually around 4.3mmol/L 2 hours post meal, which is about 77md/dL. About the same apon waking in the morning. The only time mine was any lower was after having gestatinal diabetes and having my daughter, they were giving me glucose in the hospital to raise it back up. I think it was…

I do oly lifting 3-4 times per week and never need any carbs to refuel or to be able to lift. I'm not attempting to grow muscle though as I am in a deficit and losing weight.

I have a cheap oly weight set in my garage and practice olympic lifts a few times per week, walk a fair amount, do the odd slow and short jog, and if it's too wet to leave the house I've been known to pick a random exercise vid on youtube and bounce around for 30 minutes with the kids. My grandma has had rheumatoid…
