I noticed comments that reducing carbs would be a good way of speeding up a slow gain. I agree with this in most cases, but she already said she almost doubles her daily protein most days. When I get to the bottom of the page on the forums, yes I do see a little 1/2"x 2" ad box that scrolls through ad choices. Barely noticed, so really not an issue for me.

I too am 5'5", and at 176#. I also am almost 60, so with hormonal changes and a slower metabolism, weight loss could be slower for me. The 1200 is correct, but consider your range to be +/- 100. I too noticed the crash diet of 6-7# per week in 3 weeks. My understanding about plateaus is that they last 2 weeks or longer with no weight loss. Since we all seem to like the scrumptious favors of the Greek yogurts, here's a little trick, but you'll need a mini muffin pan to try this. Mini frozen Greek yogurt bites. Spoon favorite Greek yogurt into mini muffin cups and freeze. Pop out of pan and single serve package to return to freezer. Only takes 2 or three cubes of frozen yogurt to satisfy a craving or raise blood sugar.
