Hi Roger....I think we're merging with the slow losers club. We could keep this up if you want to keep it smaller.

    Good morning Roger and Jo!
The sun is shining and it looks like it will be a beautiful day.
I really like your new avatar Jo, gorgeous! :)
I tried to find Irene with the user name she gave us, but MFP doesn't find her. I hope she uses the link and finds us. :) I sort of like having a small group, besides a larger group.
I have clay class today, that's always fun.
    Have a great day, everyone.

    Hi Jo & Vix
I have a few minutes so here I am, I am running late today. I was out grocery shopping and three other stops earlier.
It is a nice enough day today and according to the forecast tomorrow as well

    Have a Good Day

    Good Afternoon;
The sun is finally shinning after 4 days of clouds.
I am really enjoying logging my food onMFP. I have been logging everything that I eat and have been under my calorie goal for each day. I also like how it tells how much you can lose in 5 weeks. A little positive reinforcement
    is good.
Vix-I like a smaller group also.It is easier to respond to everyone individually. That picture was taken at my sons wedding 2 years ago.
I will see if I can find Irene.
Hi Roger-I am going to check out your tutorial to see if I can figure out a signature, wish me luck.

oh, good, Jo. I'm glad you found Irene. I'll try again, so I can send her a message with the link again. I'm glad you're getting some nice weather and enjoying the MFP tracking. I always found it easier here, and I like that I can customize my goals. :)
Roger, isn't this weather great. :) I've been running a bit myself. I think it's supposed to get up to 70 degrees tomorrow. Woohoo. :)

Thanks, Jo....I've been working hard on changing my diet for about a month...it's definitely slow going, but at least it's starting to move again. I do need to keep track, and I like using MFP for that. Now that the discussion groups have mostly moved over here, I'm ready to be rid of the NS site. I've been having some health issues, so that is also motivating me. Had kind of a rough day. Glad I found a new doc, maybe I'll get some better answers.
Have a good night, everyone. :)

    Good morning.
Thanks, Jo...I'm just not used to feeling yucky. Went for my sonagram this morning and have a visit with the doc next Wednesday, so just have to wait.
I just had a Yoplait Greek 100 Boston Cream Pie....tastes like dessert!
    Hi Roger....Hope you're doing ok.
    Hope Irene finds us soon.
Have a great day. Hugs for all. :)

    Hi Vix
    Good Luck
Have You tried the Dannon Light & Fit Greek Yogurts. They have lower calories and I think higher Protein.
I like the taste and use them where I need a PF with a meal as a Dessert.

    Cheers

    Hi Roger.
I don't eat much yogurt anymore, and I forgot which ones you said you liked. I'll try the Dannon light and fit Greek next time. These Greek yoplaits have a good bit of protein too, 13 grams in the one I had this morning. It was really rich. I try not to eat too much processed food, so it's a treat when I do. :)

Hi vix-I like the yoplait greek yogurt. The flavors are yummy. :) Lately I have been eating Dannon oikos triple zero greek yogurt. It has no artificial sweetener,no fat and no added sugar. The calories are 120 which is a little higher and it has 15 gm. of protein. I love your new avatar, two of my favorite colors. :)

Jo, also two of my favorite colors :)
Hmmmm....all these new yogurts to try. :) It's nice to have something that tastes like dessert when we're mostly avoiding dessert. I bought a bag of Hershey's Dark Chocolate kisses for when I really crave chocolate. They are 20 calories each, and I'm usually satisfied with one or 2 of them, just letting them melt in my mouth. I've also been trying to brush my teeth earlier at night....it keeps me from eating anything else in the evening.
Have a good night everyone. :)

    Good morning all.
Off to zumba gold this morning. I'll see what I can do. Then a haircut, it's getting sproingy. (kind of cloudy and chilly out so far).
Have a great Friday. Find something fun to do. :)

    Good Morning;
Went to work at 4:30 this morning. Now I am getting ready to take Sophie to the vet. She has been having a problem with her eyes and has to see a specialist.
Vix-It is cloudy and cold. I don't think today is supposed to warm up much.
You are very good to only have 1-2 Hersey kisses. I would probably eat half the bag.
    Have a good day. :)

Aw, poor Sophie, hope they can fix her up and make her feel better.

Dr. thinks she may have conjunctivitis. I have eye drops and an oral medication to give her. He also took blood to check for herpes and calisi virus. She has a follow up in 3 weeks. I hope the medicine works. She doesn't seem to be in any discomfort.
I hasn't warmed up any, but the sun is now shinning.

    Hi All
    Hi Vix
    Hi Jo

FWIW I use the NutriChocolates like that and let them melt in my mouth. 140 calories for the entire package. I have used the brush my teeth trick too.

I also use a smaller spoon and fork to eat so the meal lasts longer. That lets me feel full before I am done.

    Have a Good Weekend

    HI all
I have been reading the posts about yogurt and plates and thought I would join in. I too love the Dannon greek light and fit and Yoplait yogurts. Dannon is better for me as it is much easier to pull off their lids, however up until this last grocery trip I was getting half Dannon and half Yoplait. I didn't feel in the past they had as many flavors but they are getting more each week. This was the first time I was able to buy all Dannon flavors and I am so happy. Mo more tearing off the Yoplait lids with my teeth. LOL!

As for the plates since day one I have used the smaller lunch plates. When I use the shelf foods and cook them in my crock pot I have so much food it over flows the plate.

Joanne so sorry to hear about your dog have eye issues. I hope the Dr can treat her and the treatments help. 2.2 pounds that is wonderful news!

Hi Amanda-I had to laugh at you tearing off the yoplait lids with your teeth. I do the same thing sometimes. :)
Sophie is a cat. I have two. My other cat is Vinny. I posted pictures of them on the cats thread. Now that my kids are all grown up, they are my babies. :)

Jo, congrats on the 2.2 pounds gone.!!! Yay!!!! (hope Sophie's medicine helps.)
Roger... Some tricks are really helpful. :)
Amanda, I use smaller plates too. :)
It looks like a beautiful day outside. I am getting my chores done early, so I can enjoy the day. Colored my platinum streaks this morning, and doing laundry, etc. Planning to get out for a long walk later. :)
    Have a great day.

Since we all seem to like the scrumptious favors of the Greek yogurts, here's a little trick, but you'll need a mini muffin pan to try this. My pan makes 24 muffins, and I take four (4) 5.3 oz containers of Dannon Lite & Fit Greek (any flavors), and divide them into the muffins cups. Cover with plastic wrap and freeze. When ready, unmold and store in freezer bags in the freezer. Each mini Greek frozen chip is a little under 1 oz, under 15 calories, and easy to pop in your mouth to let it slowly melt. For me, it really takes the edge off any craving for something sweet.

    Hi Vix
I had what is basically a lazy day, Out and about to the recycle center and Library for their book sale and home. Then I spent some time archiving helpful/useful message from the NS Forum that I had bookmarked.

    Cheers

    Hi Sandi
Thank You for the Tip. I had not thought of that one. I might try using a spare Ice Cube tray since I rarely have room for a muffin pan in my freezer, Mini or not. Not to mention I have a Ice Cube tray and not the other.

    Cheers
