You may want to look up S.M.A.R.T. goals. I think that the R. stands for "realistic". Meaning is your goal realistic? There are many graphics and charts available for free just by Googling "SMART goals" or "SMART goal tracker". Hope this helps.

Feel free to add me, although I'm usually in the same boat as you meaning I'm usually the one looking for motivation.

Feel free to friend me as well. I could also use more motivated friends to help keep me motivated and on track.

Got my cheap mat this week and worked my way up to 30 minutes on the board last night.

I just track mine as steps in the MapMyWalk app which then automatically syncs with MyFitnessPal.

I just bought mine and am looking to use it to lose weight and build up my core muscles without impact on my knees due to previous knee injuries from being hit by a car. I will have to get a cheap mat since I have tiled floors. I will be starting this by Jan 1, 2017.

I just bought one but apparently I need to get a cheap mat since I have a tiled floor. I'm looking to really begin with this by Jan 1, 2017.

I use MyFitnessPal's sister app called MapMyWalk and just let it count my twisting as steps. It does let you know how many calories you burn and it syncs up with MyFitnessPal.

It may be because you are building muscle. You probably are losing fat but that "fat weight" is most likely being replaced by "muscle weight". I've heard this happens during the early stages of any work out routine. Stick with it. I'm sure you will see weight loss results soon enough.
