  • Quoted for truth. IF you're going numb in the nether regions it's due to a bike fit problem more that a padded short problem. Chamois pads to help, but numbness is due to a fit problem.
  • I typically take this recovery powder with me in the car. Mix it with water, then get my protein from some kind of food. Cliff Bar, Turkey Jerky, Chicken Sandwhich ... something along those lines.
  • My wife is really supportive of me working out. My daughter goes to bed at 9pm every night. So I typically go to the Gym after she goes to bed. Or I'll be a member of the Dawn Patrol Running group or cycling group on the weekends and knock out my workout before she gets up. Or well kill two birds with one stone I'll go on…
  • Depends on what you want. Cyclocross, Gravel Grinding, Cross Country, All Mountain ..... What is you're intentions on doing with the bike. Personally I like "Cross Country" style riding. Hard Tail [No rear suspension], aggressive riding position..... As far as brands go... go your local Bike Shop and ask around. And get…
  • Apple does it every year. But that's a different discussion for a different time. I was just watching RizKnows talk about the Flex 2 and the Charge 2 and he was fairly excited that the Flex 2 is now "swim proof". . . I'm sitting here thinking ... well they finally caught up with the VivoFit 1 in that aspect. But I will say…
  • dang it... now I want wings to go with that Ranch Dressing ....
  • 4 Day Family Reunion? Seriously. I would end up bat *kitten* crazy by midday of day 2 .....
  • People not wiping down the equipment when they're done with it.
  • uh...... Pluto?
  • You're not going to murder someone holding keys like that, barehanded. Go ahead and hold your keys like that, punch something fairly solid... go buy a pound of steak and lay a solid straight on blow to it.... look how much "damage" is done....
  • 1) Be honest with yourself & the app. It will do you no good to cheat the system. 2) Understand that there are days you'll go over on your calories, and that's okay. Everyone of us do it. Just get back up, dust yourself off and remember tomorrow is a new day to get back inline... 3) Don't get to worked up over the little…
  • I do not recommend doing this. Here's why. When you go to attack/punch your attacker those keys are going to go rearward into your hand and will do you as much damage as you do them. Plus the webbings of your fingers are very tender. If you do not strike 100% forward and you push those keys into your webbings you're going…
  • Depends on who you ask. Strava measures Fitness & Freshness daily....
  • I ran into a guy that I grew up with this past Saturday. I haven't seen him in over 20 years and he still recognized me...
  • Or just buy one device that actually works, and will last. Seems like with all the "Just call Fitbit, they'll replace it for you" and the "Their Customer Service is great", not to mention all the "My Fitbit stopped syncing with MFP" I cannot understand why someone would want one.... They own 80% of the US shares, and 75%…
  • So are you buying the $899.00 Leather Fenix Chronos, the $999.00 Stainless Fenix Chronos, or the $1,400.00 Titanium Fenix Chronos?
  • My boss did call me to his office once.... He pointed out that I screwed up.... and that i was intimidating to the other employees. I just stared at him until he apologized and we got on about our business.
  • 4 Strawberries 1 Banana 1 kiwi 1/2 cup of orange juice 1/2 cup of water Add ice till you are happy with the thickness enjoy.
  • I agree. You should give up Diet Soda. Full of artificial chemicals and what not. Half of those words most of us cannot even pronounce correctly... Drink Small Batch Craft Beer made from natural ingredients, from Planet Earth, the way it was meant to be.
  • The Blaze and the Alta? Those are already out. Or is there a new one announced and I'm just late to the party?
  • A firearm is one of the few tools that Equalize a fight between a 250 pound man and 120 pound woman. Ohio, where I live, is Open Carry, and Concealed with permit, and unless I'm at work or church I have mine on me.
  • Negative Calories will only reflect on MFP. That data doesn't push back to Garmin.
  • I cannot speak for the "Fitbit" side of things. Due to the fact I have a Garmin... but the idea is the same. It's reminder to be active, and keeps you walking/moving. When you get enrolled in different challenges with friends, family and fellow MFPers you'll find new ways to keep yourself moving through the day.
  • Do you have the Negative Calorie Adjustment turned on?
  • I remember my first 5K. The DAV5K in Cincinnati Ohio. Ran for Disabled American Veterans. That by itself was my biggest motivation. Knowing who I was running for. With that being said. You're going to have a lot of adrenaline running at that moment. Just put on a good play list. Find your grove and go. And trust me, when…
  • And there are tons of people at desk jobs that are as thin as toothpicks.... should we all be on our butt all day?
  • Protein Bars and Protein shakes are typically used as a method of fuel for working out. Or repairing muscles post workouts. I don't know that I [in my own opinion] would recommend a Protein shake in replacement of a meal.... There are things in food that your body needs. Minerals, vitamins, electrolytes, fats, carbs....…
  • I'm glad I'm not on the only one who saw it as a gonad diet.... I'm like what does Rocky Mountain Oysters have to do with this?
