  • Yes, please! I upgraded today.
  • Hello! Feel free to send me a friend request. I started my journey a year ago and lost 50 lb in 7 months. I took a break over the fall and maintained and I'm getting back to "the grind" now!
  • More about my mind a spirit needing a break at times than my body. But I feel ya! Props. [/quote] Totally agree. Mind, body and spirit.
  • Of course! I totally understand where you are coming from. That is exactly what I was going through. Taking a small break totally worked for me. Although, I continued exercising throughout the two months to help keep me in check. The last thing I wanted was my break to turn into a two month binge. I wish you the best of…
  • Oh, don't worry I did! I went from 1,400 to 1,700 a day which is where I am now. There were many more personal gory details about why I took a break that I left out. I wanted to keep this post simple and encouraging. Thanks for your concern though!
  • Feel free to add me! I started at 241 and am down to 205. My overall goal is 145. So close to half way I can taste it !!
  • I don't know about you but we have a jean store here that have buy one pair of pants and get the second half off. So I'll buy one pair of "now" size and one pair of a size or two smaller. That way I at least have pants that fit me! Maybe you can find a similar deal? It also works great as a "work to goal!" Best of luck!
  • Breakfast: two eggs and 2 slices of silverhills big 16 bread (favorite bread ever!) Lunch: toasted English muffin with mustard, turkey, tomato and lettuce. (Pretty full from breakfast) Dinner: we had chicken tacos with homemade guacamole, brown rice, lettuce and pineapple salsa. Omg, so amazing!!
  • Hello. Please feel free to add me. I've started at 241 and just lost just under 30lbs. My ultimate goal is 150. My advice is not to let one bad day affect your motivation. Good luck!
  • Sure, you can add me
  • I don't know why only half of my comment showed up. Anyways, the good thing about this is that I can easily mix it up even further if I want. Sometimes I throw the rice, veggies and chicken in a wok with some sauce for a stir fry or add some chicken broth for a quick soup. The possibilities are endless! Good luck !!
  • I can tell you what I did this week for my husband and I. First of all I threw a huge dish of chicken in the oven. In one big pot diced potatoes and the other cauliflower, broccoli and carrots to boil. Since we like to change it up I also there some potatoes and purple yams in the oven and some whole grain rice in the…
  • Hi everyone! I am 3 weeks away from 23 and have 60 more pounds till my goal weight. A few years ago depression hit after a serious sports injury in the peak of my athletic career. I was left with nothing. I faced problem after problem and it seemed like I was failing in every aspect of my life. Finally I turned a corner…
  • Homemade chicken, spinach, feta and BBQ pizza with grilled onion and orange peppers. So yum!! For 650 calories.
  • I eat a two egg omelet nearly every morning. Eggs, spinach, tomatoes, feta, and topped with salsa. So good!
  • I tend to shop in the veggie isle mostly!! Well, and chicken. I've challenged myself to buy 1 thing I haven't had before (small and cultural markets are great for this!) a week and watch a video on how to prepare it. My go mid day snack is a piece of toast, avocado (in place of butter) with chopped chicken breast and…
  • I have been dieting in and off for the past two years. Finally I hit a point where things had to change!! Been at it for a little while now and things are finally going my way. I am needing to loose another 80 lbs.
