I always admire the pretty presentations too....the lovely dishes, the well thought garnishes.
I've become a believer in "we eat with our eyes".
Somehow, I slow down and savour my meal when I take the time to make it look pretty.

Brekkie was prawn, goji, tang oh and egg mee suah but the brie, bacon, caramelised red onions and sage burger was so huge, I had to portion it out for both lunch and dinner.

Mine was yet another experimental fusion. Made lychee stuffed with duck, green curry, hot chilli scallop sauce, pine nuts and coriander, served with curry udon.

Another food fair which means ... *head desk* Giant prawn noodles, coconut jelly with caramel pudding, salty caramel mille crepes and claypot rice ... all in one day. Sigh.

Breakfast this morning! High protein, high fibre, and already hitting the daily recommendations for fruit, nuts, and tea.
Fat free yoghurt, an apple, a banana, bran flakes, and unsalted peanuts.
670 kcal, 43g protein (mostly the yoghurt), 12g fibre.

Lunch was salt baked chicken wrap and dinner was scallops with garlic and crawfish. Tea and dessert were mille crepes - chocolate & tiramisu. Yes, I will have to walk like a demon tomorrow to work these off!

Homemade chicken, spinach, feta and BBQ pizza with grilled onion and orange peppers. So yum!! For 650 calories.0

Big boys had a rugby game today, so I made some sammiches for pre/post game fuel. Went great with beer too. *burrrp* The muddy men loved it!
Chicken marinated and basted in my BBQ sauce blend, cheese, fresh sweet tomatoes, wholegrain bread and more BBQ sauce.

I LOVE my crock pot, best thing ever. Tonight's dinner was Crock Pot Chicken Enchilada Soup topped with green onion, cilantro, cheese, avocado, a little crushed tortilla chips and sour cream. Kid approved which is awesome0 -
