  • Thanks again guys! It is nice to know that it something that everyone struggles with (rather than thinking I'm weaker than normal). You are def right about them not being that bad. I went back and looked and they are way better than a regular day two months ago! I just need to keep my chin up :-)
  • I'd love to join your group! I need motivation and help with cravings all the time (while in a POSITIVE environment and not being chastised). Some wonderful fitness "pals" would be amazing!
  • Thank you guys! I needed that boost. I was wallowing in pity and chastising myself after dinner, rather than moving forward and doing better tomorrow. My excuses were lame, but nothing I can do about them now! Looking ahead with a fresh start is a wonderful idea.
  • You say it's efficient at what it does, what is that?
  • Gotcha. I will keep that in mind. I record my food both here and on paper in a diary, so I'm fairly mindful. But it is good to keep that in mind and err on the low side when calculating what I can overeat.
  • Great idea!! I'm suck a cut-and-dry kind of person with very definite boundaries. Figuring out a specific calorie amount would be perfect for me. Thanks!
  • I was told it is a way to "shock" or "trick" your body into raising its metabolic rate after it being lowered during deficit... It makes sense, and I am still seeing results while doing it! I think, for me at least, it is a psychological thing. It is something to look forward to while super focusing on my diet throughout…
  • Thanks for the tips! I stick to a tight calorie-deficient diet for the whole week, and then do my over-eat on Sundays. I did it in college (I played college ball) but never really had any control. Now that I'm less active, I want to watch it a bit more...
