Thanks Everybody! Going for the 1/2 heath bar because chocolate is what I'm craving. Very proud of my new found will power...before starting this journey there is no way I could have had just 1/2 a candy bar. Now I am finally seeing that half satisfies my craving as well as the whole thing but it doesn't destroy my diet.…

My main reason for wanting to cut out meat is weight loss. I've seen & heard from so many people who have lost the weight they wanted to lose plus some by cutting out meat. Also, my husband and I have been trying to conceive for a year now with no luck. After a long talk with my mother about my frustration, she mentioned…

I agree...treats should be given occasionally and nutrition should be given everyday...but if you are giving your kids the nutrition they need and yet still not allowing them the treats on occasion....isnt that depriving them? I wouldnt feel I was depriving my child by not keeping sweets in the house but I would feel that…

You may not be depriving your body but are you depriving your soul? I give my body what it needs and I give my soul a treat from time to time. Guess we will just have to agree to disagree....pity!

I'm not concerned at all that my food is unacceptable to them. I dont stock my pantry with cookies and chips...the only candy in my house is dark chocolate and I dont drink soda or eat fried foods. That being said though I still do not live up to these peoples standard of what healthy is. and I'm totally fine with that.…

and yes I do still believe that completely removing sweets/treats is deprivation. Life is meant to be enjoyed and food is something that most people do enjoy. If you dont have the self control to only allow yourself these treats on occasion then thats a psychological problem that you should deal with outside of your weight…

I agree completely! Its not only about physical health. Treats are part of a healthy life as well because they make you happy. I'm totally not saying to let your children go hog wild at the dinner table every night and I'm not saying to allow them Mcdonalds or Burger King everyday...and I'm certainly not saying that you…

The difference is...you're an adult and you made the decision for yourself. You're not a little child who doesnt understand why they cant have cake at the party like all the other children!
-
I dont think depriving yourself completely is any healthier than overeating. You're just going from one extreme to another. Its not about extremes...its about moderation and BALANCE! These kids are gonna grow up one day and mommy and daddy cant protect them from cake forever. How are they gonna feel as adults when they…

Yes do be careful! There is a such thing as too much water.

It shouldn't be ALL about losing weight...you should focus on being healthy. I'm addicted to junk food too and I still allow myself the occasional treat but I have cut back alot. You will still lose weight if you stay within your calories but you're not doing much for your health. Try to cut back & good luck! I know its…

Enjoy a glass or two...Red is especially good for you. and tasty! :P

Its SO much fun! Its like going to the club to me. I love it! I was nervous at first but I did it anyway and I had the time of my life! It's an amazing workout too. After an hour I was drenched in sweat but I had so much fun that I didnt realize I had even been exercising! So I say DO IT!!! :)

Love it! Thank You!!!! I'd definitely rather waste than add to my waist! :p
-
Thank You EVERYBODY for your encouragement and your suggestions! I've decided to take everybody's advice and mold it to what I think will be best for me. Freezing one of the brownies for a future treat...and the other two are getting trashed. I hate to waste food but I dont work so I'm home most of the day and its just too…
-
Freezing is a wonderful idea...but that means they're still in the house.... I dont know.......I just feel like if I keep them then I'll be too tempted to eat one everyday and thats just not good right?
-
Ghiradelli dark chocolate brownies are my FAV!!!! Only 210 cal for one brownie and I assume they're at least a little bit healthier because of the dark chocolate. When I have them I usually try not to snack as much during the day so I can save up for the brownie. If you can get them where you are I'd highly recommend…

I keep them in the house for when I cant take the time to make a lunch or just dont know what to have. I dont follow their diet plan but I do have the shakes occasionally.
-
Depends on what you consider good. Were all without our husbands tonight so its gonna be chick flicks all the way!!! :)
-
Awesome! Thanks Everybody! Definitely wont make a habit out of it, but I did have a decent sized healthy lunch so I feel fine just snacking tonight. Truly appreciate everybody's input! :)
-
Thank you! This is pretty enlightening. I knew there had to be a catch somewhere.
-
Yes it tastes wonderful! I even use it in recipes that call for butter and it works great. I just dont understand how it can have 0% of pretty much everything. Maybe it really is magic :P
-
I know its probably bad...but I run on an empty stomach. I find that I can run farther and longer that way. I dont even drink anything until after my run or I get nauseous. I've found that for really long runs though I will get hungry about halfway through so I like to carry a pack of Jelly Belly sports beans or some Gu…

I love to eat it but I tend to avoid it unless on a salad or something. When I have it all by itself I tend to really over salt it!
-
I almost dipped them in Nutella as well...but I'm so glad I didnt! :P

150 g is actually a pretty small bag but loaded with calories apparently. I didnt eat the whole bag though. Only about 1/5 of it.
-
Depends on how accurate you want to be. I log absolutely everything. That milk is calories and fat that you're adding so I would say log it.
-
This bag has almost 800 calories for 150g. I only had about 30g though so I'm still good for today. I'll just make these an occasional treat.
-
This did help! Thank you! Guess I'll keep these as an occasional treat only!
