weight watchers is great for some people! i did it when i first started trying to lose weight and it got me on the right track. then i was able to join here once i felt ready to go at it on my own. whatever u choose good luck!

Sorry but it does not sound like a great plan. Maybe u couldn't stick with 1200 because it was too low? Maybe don't be so aggressive so u can still enjoy life. I'm set at 1700 and have found that far more manageable long term. Do what u can keep up for life . This is not a quick fix

i agree with above. feeling u need to make full blown meals every night will ruin it. veggies and some form of protein. i am not vegetarian so im not too sure what your protein source would be... tofu? maybe add a boiled egg if that fits for u? nuts and beans? and i exercise 20 minutes and day....sometimes just walking.…

you have been working out along time but how long has it been since u starting logging your food?
-
Exercise alone cannot cancel out eating poorly. If u way over eat on weekends that is the inches u have put on
-
Are u tracking your calories?
-
u can always start with a goal of 140 and see how u look and feel at that weight. u want something u can maintain without killing yourself to do it. i like to set mini goals as well. say lose the first 10lbs. this can help keep u motivated over the long run. good luck!
-
the first 50lbs took me 10 months. then i maintained that for two years. this last april i decided i wanted to get lower and have lost another 15lbs since. ive got 10lbs left to my goal!
-
i went from 215 to 150 eating what i want. having vacations, and exercising about 20 minutes a day. but lets be honest, going that route is a slow one. it has taken me years to get here. but thats ok because it is something i can maintain for life! i feel great and ive never been deprived. and yes im 5'4

u are going to get a much higher calorie burn jogging outside. but there is more chance of injury. i love being outdoors so i would much prefer being outside. it's a personal choice both are atleast being active
-
i agree with above poster that it doesn't have to be that hard. small steps are lasting steps. remember to stick with it u must make changes u are willing to do for the rest of your life!
-
think all noobies should read this! one meal doesn't undo weeks of hard work!
-
i have a good buddy who has the same issue. i like going out to eat with friends and so i usually just make room in my diet for an evening out. what he does is goes to every event, but will just get a diet soda. he does not talk about his diet unless ask encouraging questions. just divert any negative comments. eventually…

bahaha why is it i keep trying to eat more paleo? think ill have pancakes for breakfast thanks for that

some of us, myself included, will never get our old stomach back. if u have alot of stretch marks and loose skin this could simply be your new body, well barring a tummy tuck. this sucks but it is life after children. u can still be in great shape though!
-
do some workout videos. things like insanity burn major calories. i wouldn't call them beginners workouts though
-
i eat six times a day. 3 meals of about 400 cals and 3 snacks of 100-200 calories. this works for me as i never get hungry. to each they're own and whatever floats ur boat. there is no right or wrong way if it's working for u
-
well its someone who has both ur home and ur husbands cell. so it is probably someone u know. are ur numbers listed on any social media sites?
-
Focus on health. I know it can be hard but that really should be number 1. Losing weight doesnt change who u are inside. Ive lost 65lbs and yes i have saggy skin. I still feel 100x better about myself. The good things with losing weight should always outweigh the bad

eggs and bacon. i find protein in the morning keeps me full till lunch. i will usually have an apple as a snack acouple hours later
-
what u eat on the odd occasion doesn't really matter. if u are consistently only eating around 900 calories yes eat more. 934 calories is very low. once i awhile i eat under 1200 but it is maybe once a month. u can't be getting much protien with that. it doesn't take much to get an extra 250 in.. peanut butter on an apple,…
-
oh interesting thanks for telling me! i sometimes pick up food from the states and would not have realized
-
I eat bacon every morning. The calories on the package or not what u end up consuming. Well unless u eat all the fat that drains off. U can usually cut the calories by about half what is listed
-
i am going by what weight i felt my best at, which falls on the higher end of the 'normal' bmi range. bmi to me was just a tool to know what i should be 'near'. not that it was the end all be all. but most people should probably fall within it's range or somewhere close to it. im not including body builders in that

juicing. u do realize u don't have to go to such drastic measures to lose just because u can't work out. juicing sucks. and it will be FREQUENT trips to the grocery store. if u can barely walk i hope u have someone who is going to go shopping every day plus juice for u up to 5 times a day. it is time consuming and…
-
i would say it's not worth trying if it's all u plan to consume. this comes from first hand experience. i said i was going to do it for 10 days. i lasted 3 with awful stomach cramps headaches and just exhaustion. it is pointless. u might loss a few lbs but gain it back as soon as u eat solid food. that and i learned i hate…
-
90% of people on here mean well. sometimes people's replys can be taken the wrong way, it can be tough to tell when we are all typing on a computer and u can't actually see facial expressions, tone of voice, so on. they're are the odd 10% that almost always have a negative response. after awhile u just realize who they are…
-
could u talk to your husband about it? maybe he can not snack in the evenings around u for a couple weeks. the first little bit is the hardest but once u get through that u will be set! my husband has just started trying to eat better but he learned a few years ago when i started that it would be best if he didn't snack…

u don't have to be strict. are u really never going to have chocolate again? my motto always is if i can't keep it up for life why bother? i have something 'not perfect' everyday. i have lost 65lbs. it's not about being perfect all the time. it's about moderation
-
that is awesome u can totally do this! good luck to u! i will add u as a friend. i think u made the best choice
