Just want you to know your not alone! I had lost 60lbs in 2019, and since march and covid I've put on 30lbs. I feel sad and defeated. I worked so hard! But no one could have planned for it, and we all coped the best we could. Now we have to remember we did it once, we can do it again. The fighter is still in there! You've…

I have been there. What matters is you get up and start fresh tomorrow, don't let it turn into a week long binge/pity fest. I had a bad day yesterday as well. Cheetos and donuts of lunch and supper. It happens, but I understand the feeling! Exercise always makes me feel better

Sauerkraut Hated it as a kid. Refuse to eat it now 😂

Yes I have, and I can agree with that perspective!

If were going to nitpick, the percentage was so much lower in comparison my brain did not note it.

I would disagree, because if you look at statistics, over half of people following a western diet are either obese or overweight. I've met many grown adults with 0 concept of health. I personally can easily stick to 1 apple, but a bag of my favorite cookies? Not so much. The issue become more obvious to me after travelling…

This I can get behind

Agree with above. I eat on average 1700-1900 cals a day as a 5'4 woman of 155lbs , and still lose. Albeit I work out 6 days a week, so you might want to play around with your caloric intake after trying 2000 for a few weeks, but I gaurentee you will feel better. Plus losing to quick can equal more muscle loss, probably…

Hey I personally liked it. I prefer the go hard or go home now and then! To really push ourselves is a gift, to achieve more than we ever thought possible, well thats truly living.

I was wondering how long it would take for this post to be picked apart. All or nothing don't work for most. Can't all be David Goggins( look him up he's awesome) not everyone wants to take this to 110%, some just want to be better than yesterday, and thats ok!

15 miles a day? A week? Month? What does this mean lol!

30 minutes cardio per day is fine, especially if your changing it up between running and the other stuff. Weight lifting plan also looks good. You can also adjust if something isn't working. What matters most is finding what you can stick with!

I wouldn't bother. Unless u love celery 🤣. If your finding your still actually hungry most nights, your deficit might be too strict

I would be blunt and straight forward with these friends. Tell them how they made you feel. Sometimes people just gotta be put in their place for the bad behavior. If it keeps up after that I may think about who my real friends are. But for sure thats disappointing

So mine was maybe not as severe as some, but before weight loss i probably binged 2 evenings a week, eating anywhere from 1000-2500 cals in a few hours, mindlessly. I had to change my routine. I always binged in front of the tv, so i stopped watching tv. I would do anything else. Read, walk, take a bath, whatever. I still…

My goals are to drop the last 15-20, run my first 5k and complete a mini triathlon! Last year i focused mainly on weight loss and muscle retention, this year im getting on my cardio! Goals are important and i love hearing other peoples

I am guessing that unless your 5 ft tall, your undereating by close to 400-500 cals per day to maintain weight with that level of exercise. I would probably feel the same way!
-
So weight loss is like 85% diet. Therefore the problem is not in the workout, its whats going in your mouth. How accurate is your logging? Are u weighing and measuring your food?

I agree with you on the hunger thing! I started swimming regularly about a month ago, swimming about 3 times a week. I have something protein heavy as im leaving the gym, either a protein smoothie/ shake, protein bar, or egg bites. Seriously helps get through the rest of the day!

It's so important to celebrate all those non scale victories!

I heard someone quote you have to want this as bad as you want to breathe. And sometimes it is that. Sometimes 20 times a day in the beginning you have to remind yourself why your doing this. My heart feels for you, truly. There is hope, this is possible. It is worth every sacrifice of bad food. To live, without pain, or…

It can be so easy for weight to rule your life, i get that. But if you feel its holding you back from things you love, I would say it's time to seek outside help. I wish the best for you! But know that 10 lbs won't be the answer, i know.

Hi there! Another Jenn here! I work out 5-6 days a week weight lifting, and am now training for my first 5 k and sprint triathalon. Ive just started logging my workouts since upping my cardio, would love more fitness friends!

I am sure you realize you can have all the support in the world, but your the one thats has to get up and do the work either way. Ya it can help. But you gotta be your own hero in your story! You gotta be so tired of your own excuses you don't want to hear them anymore. Im sorry if this is heavier than your looking for,…

I appreciate your spunk. And who doesn't want to lose 20lbs in a month! Sounds too good to be true! I've done it, but well we know how the story goes, i gained back 30, and here I am again, this time trying desperately to find a plan I can stick with for life. Also now maintaining my hard earned muscle mass matters big…

That is interesting, I also just started training for a sprint triathalon and have very similar stats, ( 5'4, 157lbs hoping to reach 145). My calorie intake before I started training was around 1500 per day, now it's about 1800-1900 because I am hungry!! I did notice occasional dizziness, and am generally burning 400 cals…
