I said no to the way too much sugar protein bar even though I was hungry. I waited for break and ate my deliciously healthy lunch.

I cook more to make sure that I have go to healthy meals instead of just grabbing whatever is in the fridge. I also never leave the house without a bottle of water and a healthy snack. That way if my errands take longer than planned I won't grab fast food.

I am 5'4" and close to 200 lbs. I looked at my vacation pictures and they were not pretty. The person I see in the mirror is NOT the person in the photos. What a wakeup call. I guess we see who we want to see,not reality. So here I go. I've started with improving my eating habits. Once I've got that figured out I will add…

I've noticed the same thing. I've been in stores looking at clothing and no sales people ask if I need assistance. A thin person walks in and they're all over her. I usually end up walking out without purchasing anything.

I would like to feel healthy and energized. Less fat and more muscle would help with my arthritis pain. Bring able to shop for,and look good,in regular sizes would be a bonus.

I work 20:30 - 04:30. I normally get to sleep around 06:30 and get up around 14:30. I treat it like any normal day. Breakfast when I wake and meals and snacks accordingly. I try to keep as close as I can to the same schedule on my days off as well. This makes it easier to stick to my plan.

I'm really trying to rid myself of my sweets addiction. Does anyone know of any new nonsweet products?

I said no to cream and sugar in my Timmies coffee. I said no to the peanut butter cookie that usually accompanies the double double coffee.

Pretty much anything sweet. Cakes. Puddings. Icecream. Cookies. Then I would hide the packets in the trash.

I stay within my calories and worry about nutrients tomorrow. It all balances out at the end of the week.

Hi. I'm 52 yrs young. 5'4. 197lbs. My weight has bounced up and down the last 20 years. It's time to get serious. My wakeup call was visiting with my Grandchildren and not being able to keep up. I want to be the fun Grammy, not the Grammy who dies far too young of heart failure.

Thank you so much for sharing your story. I have been on the roller-coaster for years and just can't seem to get off. I start off well then just seem to lose all motivation. You are an inspiration to me. I am going to begin by posting a photo on the fridge. A reminder of who I do not want to be. I am afraid it will he the…

Like the old saying "A picture's worth a thousand words". I had no idea how big I really looked until I went through our vacation pictures. There was a photo of me from behind ( and what a behind it was). It really has to go.
