I weigh myself once a week at the same time of day in the same spot. I even weigh clothed the same. It may seem a tad OCD but I know it's as accurate as I'm going to get.

Depression plays a huge role in my binge eating. Some days it seems as though I've always got food in my gob. Even though I'm on medication there are days that are just too overwhelming. The more hopeless I feel, the more I eat.....anything sweet will do.

I hate that I used to be so trim and fit now I'm a blob. I hate that I can't walk without hurting. I hate that I'm out of breath when I try to walk fast. I hate that I can't keep up to my Grandkids. Mainly i hate that I have done this horrible thing to myself.

I'm a sugar addict as well. I will go cold turkey for a few weeks and still crave it. Ultimately I will end up gorging myself on chocolate bars or???? I have decided this time that I will allow myself small treats and see if that works better for me.

I make mine by beating 1C milk,1 egg,1tsp vanilla together till well mixed. Then I stir in 1/3c quick cooking oats, add whatever fruit I feel like that day. Sprinkle cinnamon and nutmeg on top. Microwave for 3 minutes. Yummy. Protein,fruit.,dairy,carbs. Very filling. Very nutritious

Thank you for this . I have been on a roller-coaster for years. Every time I have started out wonderfully but get bored of the foods or am always hungry. This time I'm going to take it slow and easy.

Thank you for your advice. I have lost and gained several times. In the past I began with a full out sprint and ran out of steam. This time I have slowed it down to a slow trot. I am more prepared to go the course

I was closet shopping as well until I completely sabotaged my diet. I gained so much I had no choice but to go shopping at an actual store. I'm a snacked as well. I've snacked myself right out of all my clothes. I will do wonderfully for a month or two then WHAM I'm snacking instead of meals.
