You are awesome just for going. I’ve never had body image issues but I can assure you that really nobody is paying attention in those classes and nobody will remember you when I think the exercise class one month after the fact😋 which is really just a great thing. We are all wired to forget minute details! It’s awesome!!

Ok I might be able to get on the bandwagon again. I eat too crazily in the afternoons so I’ll do water and an Atkins shake (my first!) to do a better job with evenings. I do love almonds and water.
-
I fell off the bandwagon completely because being hungry and peeing out my water all day made me incredibly irritated and kind of dysfunctional at work. How do I permanently cut my hunger ?
-
We can do this Monday

This weekend was hard. I went back to sugar which wasn’t worth it. I overate the sugar! My brain is wired for it. Who has new ideas for me for tomorrow’s sugar-crave?

I am needing to be more accountable because I botched things up already! It’s so hard now that I’m older and I’ve lost weight previously. STARTING WEIGHT AND DATE WITH MFP (MY FITNESS PAL): 2015 CHALLENGE STARTING WEIGHT: 139 Jan. 7:139 Jan. 14: Jan. 21: Jan. 28: January Goal:135 January Actual: Feb. 4: Feb. 11: Feb. 18:…

Coffee or tea with vanilla extract is working out well as is green tea with h a stick of cinnamon!

Finally Friday! I’ll do better this weekend than I did last weekend with eating regularly! Right?!?!?!

Add me: I struggle to keep my daily effort steady. If I starve for three day, I make up for it day4!
-
It’s hard at first but it gets easier!
-
Tylenol every six hours around the clock for 7 days! Midol might help if you use 1 tab per day or less. I make my own lattes with PLAIN VANILLA EXTRACT and fat free half and half. Liquid stevia is you need it sweet! It adds up to 40 calories per serving rather than 500!
-
Today I failed the struggle but I will do better tomorrow!
-
Yes! Let’s do good! I struggled with hunger on wed and thur and today ate a little too much but feel better.

Choose one area and work on getting close to the “burning fatigue” then do light cardio for 10 mins and come back to weights for a second attempt. Every 3 days x 15 days=stronger self!

Does this reply box go to all the thread members, or just the most recent name?-dblst10. AND, let’s nail this first WEEKEND OF 2019! Every hour counts. That being said, I just went out to Mexican and had some unplanned sour cream and guacamole....

HI GROUP: what a nice bunch of people. My goals this year are to keep logging in MFP and stay away from sugar! Just for today: eat banana dipped in plain cinnamon to keep my sweet tooth at bay. I have a few pounds left go go! I'd also like to learn how to get around the groups/friends/etc in MFP which seem a little…

I feel for you and your tough situation! Don’t let it get you down. Tell him you are sad about his comments; he really does need to hear your very VALID feelings and remember: he CANT ARGUE ABOUT YOUR OWN FEELINGS: they’re yours! You own them! He’s clueless and hurting you. But remember: he never wakes up in the morning…

Don't give up: it gets easier, not more difficult, each day that passes! Logging food seems silly at first but IT REALLY DOES WORK! Keep up the effort, you'll be so happy that you did.

So how do I "add" people and how do we keep this discussion/group together? I also tried to join the "Lose 1 Pound a Week and keep it off" group but I am not sure if that attempt to joint was successful, either. I am glad to see so many people interested though!

HI everyone: my goal is to lose 15 lbs by summer 2019 and I have a feeling it's going to be a slow journey since it's the third time I have lost that weight! I am going to start by tracking my intake on MFP and getting rid of sugar since I am a serious sugar addict and it's the #1 cause of my failure!
-
Brewed, unsweetened green tea with each meal. Can be decaf 😀
-
Great! I am still working out how to use MFP here with groups/friends: The daily weigh in keeps me focused on the day. Sometimes if I am up a pound, it just makes me refocus or just weigh in again the next day and sometimes the pound is gone the next day if it’s just water weight.
-
I’m interested in joining the group but I’m not sure how.

At age 71 your metabolism is slower. Try light weight lifting to sped it up. Monday's arms, Tuesday's legs, Wednesday's arms again..... And add additional produce to get your calorie count down to 1100 calories per day. Big plates of fresh produce look better than little plates of breads/meats.

Try to be good to yourself!

It's gonna feel easier to do as you get better at it. Don't give up during plateaus! You can make your dream come true!
