In the same boat, I am 5'1" hovering around 120 and would love to be 110....its been a struggle this year.

Im a shortie...5'1" currently at 120 and ultimately hoping to get to 110. I do exercise and try to eat back half of my exercise calories.
-
WOW!! You are a champ--I cant imagine having 4 kids under the age of 5. Way to go :)

This is the story of my life... Yes, it is a slow process and its hard to watch your bf lose weight so "quickly and easily" but I think its a matter of weighing things correctly, logging accurately and being honest with yourself. I know why I'm not getting there.

I have struggled so much with the last 5 (or 10) I would really like to be 110 ( a weight I haven't seen in years) but am currently fluctuating between 117 and 121. Ugh! It seems like I make progress over a few months and then life happens and I am right back to where I started. (I am 5'1")

Personally I love zucchini noodles and I use only those. I stir-fry either tofu or chicken, a little scrambled egg, sometimes a few shredded carrots, and then add the zucchini noodles at the end because I don't like them overcooked. I top with bean sprouts and a lime wedge and a sprinkling of PB2. For pasta replacement, I…

Tons of recipes here: http://inspiralized.com/recipes/ personally I love them as a replacement for pad thai noodles and also as pasta in several Italian dishes that I make.

Love this philosophy! I eat "breakfast" everyday sometimes it is at 7am and sometimes it as 11am but I am not going to eat if Im not hungry yet :P

Naw, not overcomplicating at all! I modify stuff all the time based on what I have--and I HATE wasting! Id say you might also look at traditional cheesecake recipes and see what to tweak that works for you. I think ProteinPow tends to do mostly egg white, for cheesecake, since I dont really make cheesecake Im not sure if…

You could do this one without the crust and replace strawberries with blueberries: http://proteinpow.com/2014/02/strawberryproteincheesecake.html I haven't made this recipe but I like the site and have made recipes from here before. ETA: this one looks good too:…

Having a 4 servings of Breyers' is like a third of my days calories. I like the vanilla maple flavor and find it creamy enough for my tastes but the other flavors are too 'watered down' to me. My understanding is that the calorie count per serving is fine for Artic Zero, I think the issue is the claim that the whole…

Why don't you have the steak over a bed of mixed greens with a nice vinaigrette and some blue cheese crumbles? A simple modification can make both you and them happy. My ex-husband was the same way--to this day he still eats no veggies. As for my son, I guess the apple doesn't fall far from the tree, Ive tried forcing it…

I cook for just my kids and myself (most nights)...My son sounds exactly like your boys and only eats meat (chicken, turkey, beef or pork) and rice/noodles. So what I do is I make one meal that is friendly for him but I modify it for my daughter and myself. For spaghetti and meat sauce night, I have mine over zoodles…

500-700 including an evening snack/dessert. It is by far my biggest meal of the day. I don't take a lunch at work (just not "done" in my office) so I eat a quick salad at my desk. Typically, I am in a rush in the morning and try to keep it simple. I have toyed with the idea of IF but I think I need something during the day…

You look amazing...and most importantly happy :)

Im an ice cream junkie--if I didn't have halo top I would be plowing into the bryers with my kids after dinner...and I want a good sized serving too! There are a few stores around here that carry it that I haven't been to--so hope to try the other flavors soon. :)
-
Totally agree! Halo top is a little creamier and is worth the extra calories...Ive tried Lemon Cake, Vanilla, Strawberry and Chocolate but have trouble finding the other flavors.

I do this with the Vanilla Maple flavor and it is perfect! I like volume :) and teeny tiny scoop of something super premium just wont cut it for me.

Planning and food prep!

I love cooked ground turkey, roasted butternut squash, almonds, dried cranberries and a strawberry vinaigrette on mixed greens. A close second is roasted zucchini, red peppers with grilled chicken on mixed greens with balsamic. Also, like a kale salad with shredded carrots, almond slivers, grilled chicken, oranges with a…

Everyone has an oops now and again! Don't dwell, don't feel bad, and don't keep rehashing it in your mind. Just move forward toward your goal. :)

I chop potatoes and roast in the oven with a little olive oil spray, salt and pepper. I keep them in Tupperware in my fridge for the week for various recipes. (Im sort of a partial meal prepper)
-
Was just looking at that! Maybe I will mix it up on the sauce and the veggies I use and it will be "different enough" for the elementary school palate! ;)
-
I just looked at these and thought "they aren't that bad" then I realized a serving is 1/2 a cookie. :/

Really good point--I think for me its knowing a number and where I stand. Useful otherwise, probably not. I guess it is curiosity more than anything else.
