Welcome and congrats on the engagement! Start off by logging all your meals, then you should be able to define your diet better!

You're doing well. And I'll admit I did not know about the community until after awhile either lol all I did was track. Yes the gym does wonders for weight loss! Gain some nice muscle tone as well! My clothes felt different not too long after I started the gym again!

You'll do it again and keep on doing it! Track everything always its the best clicker you have right now!

I have Grass-fed Whey Concentrate. Grass fed is better for the immune system so I read. 100 dollars CAD for 11 pds. And it even has a higher leucine content than the grass-fed isolate! Just another bro tip.

I too know the feeling of hiding with said heartbeat. You need to talk with someone in person about this. You can pretty much ask anybody who to talk to for help. Help is always there, non-judgmental, waiting for you to reach out. Please don't keep it bottled up. Please do talk with someone.

I prefer fasted morning workouts. I like the morning because testosterone is highest then. Also I feel sluggish after eating so later in the day isn't good for me. Don't like the feeling of food sloshing around inside my stomach while exercising either.

That did not happen with me, it's the first I've heard of it. Sorry to hear that happened. Good job on kicking it though. We all find our ways.

No. Its more like going from alcoholic beer to non-alcoholic beer. I started with 6mg of nicotine. Two weeks later I was doing 3mg. 2 weeks after that I was doing 0mg. Boom! done quit.

The science behind BCAA's is convincing enough for me to buy it, I use them in my intra drink with HBCD. Yea I don't like it when someone says BCAA's are a waste of money, "you get them from protein through the day". Yea well I want to workout fasted in the morning so BCAA's definitely help there. I don't drink coffee too…

Haha my coach told us to do that, i liked it. Yea OP like most have said walk some, jog some. Its a great way to introduce your bones and joints and heart to the impact of running.

You might not like my advice. You could try cold turkey but you might find yourself craving hard and caving in going to the store to buy a pack. At least with ecigs you can reach for the ecig knowing that you are on your path to quitting. I always wanted to quit after 20 years of smoking, and I did, ecigs helped a great…

Yea boxing is a hell of a workout, plus you hone your skill of pugilism! Good job finding it! What I wanted to get out of fitness is a firm body with visible abdominal muscle. Abs! I used to lift weights and had a decent body then. I had to get an appendectomy and that put a halt to my progress. Then i got trapped in a…

I used e-cigarettes to kick the habit. There are liquids with varying amounts of nicotine and I gradually introduced lower amounts of nicotine until I was using a 0 mg liquid. They have different flavours too. It was a pleasurable experience quitting smoking. I dont feel the need to smoke. I'll have the odd smoke once in…

Ok Mr serious

Congratulations on quitting smoking! I went with e-cigarettes/vaporizers and was able to ween myself off the nicotine. Im super happy still to be smoke free! Track everything you eat, all the time. Your consistency will pay off in giving you a more clear picture in what it is you need to do to fix your diet. Stick with it.…

Sometimes ill consider my beer as a cheat meal. And like another poster above said you can save up calories for the week and splurge on the weekend, like tonight! Ill have about 8 tall cans equalling about 1700-1800 cal. My TDEE is 3500 and my daily goal is 2260. Somewhere in there I can afford my 8 tall cans, especially…

I 2nd the push-pull routine. If you miss a day then just keep the routine going next time you can go. I did a bodybuilding routine years ago and if I missed a day it sucked because I would have to wait til next week to do the missed day. With a push-pull routine its not as strict and I can miss a day and not feel bad about…

Yes! This is a key point I left out. A hard switch to a more strict diet can lead to diet burnout rather quick. Dont let it happen to you. Start off by consistently tracking everything no matter what it is you eat. The picture becomes more clear with consistent tracking! Keep it up you're on the right track!

Hi! A smooth transistion is what we are looking for. Headaches aren't good. If you really need sugar to avoid headaches maybe slowly ease out of the sugar. I cut all processed and refined food as much as possible, but, if i am under my goal/ calorie limit I can afford myself a treat, usually two chocolate chip cookies. And…

Yes! I wash my hands all the time and I look for hand sanitizer everywhere! Now at the gym I wipe everything before and after use.
