Thin does NOT equal Healthy!!! I've never been THIN and my cholesterol is PERFECT. so yes I'm lucky, but somewhere hereditary genes has that under control.

I also do a bar around 190 and coffee, I get up at 4 am, so by 9 i'm actually hungry so I eat 2nd breakfast, then later a light snack or light lunch, dinner is my BIG one, I eat what I've got left with sometimes an evening snack. I only eat the bar because I know I would be all HANGRY by 7 and I cannot eat on the job.

I have been 99.9% fast food free since december of 2014. I will use protein bars or grab some cheese and meats over anything from fast food. Baked chips instead of fries and cauliflower! I had a plain grilled chicken that I ate with no bun the one time I did have fast food. I really really DO NOT MISS IT!!! LOL

My whole family eats different meals. I gave up doing that traditional family dinner and it has saved me a load of grief!! Several things were already mention, like the large pizza and bags of candy but one of my absolute favs use to be a half a box of noodles cooked up and just put a ton of country crock and salt on it. I'm thinking 2000 calories LOL.

I track everything I eat, so knowing i'm going to have to put that cookie on there or that spoonful of mac and cheese stops me. I usually track then eat so i have to think what I'm doing, and that moment of hesitation stops me from eating something I don't mean to.

I have never stayed at maintenance, slipping and falling, so when I make it I will 1. Keep logging 2. Keep checking items on scale 3. Do not trust that you can guesstimate and slip further and further away. (my big downfall)

Almost none of my family eats the same, and it's no big deal. I'd prefer a frozen low calorie meal over something I didn't need or want . My son eats high carb, my daughter has been eating her weird concoctions and I fix something easy for my husband, it's really hot here so sometimes a sandwich and fries will do.
