I'm no Brit but I work for a uk company in Kings Lynn. Sounds like you're off to the right start!

Would have liked to see that Fenway Park log in!

Once you've used a heart rate monitor for awhile you'll be able to adjust what the app calculates based on your own experience. For example i know it overstates my calorie burn for a boot camp class by about 20% based on using the HRM so now I just adjust the minutes down so the app gives me the right calorie amount.

That's great that you spend time with your dad. With so little time have you ever taken up running? It's certainly the easiest in terms of prep time and the calorie burn rate is super.

Ahh to be in my 40s again!

Tall skinny latte with one equal. Coffee fix without too many calories.

Aye caramba figure out how to use 8pm as the cutoff!

Training gives me the calorie wiggle room I need to achieve my goals.

I am on a 14 week mission to get to cycling weight. May 1st kicks off training for the Pan Mass Challenge!

I was happy to see a previous comment "officially once a week" which is what I do. There's reams of info online about normal fluctuations in weight, and I found that weighing myself every day can be discouraging. I did that once before and the discouragement lead me to overdo the calorie deficit, and ultimately lose muscle…

That's baffling. It's true that working at a higher heart rate will burn calories faster, I don't know any reason why working at 130bpm wouldn't help to create a nice calorie deficit.

Welcome aboard. I am on day 39 of my logging streak, but no UP24 here. Best wishes!!

Be careful about what you're logging in terms of calories burned. If you overestimate then it will slow your weight loss and add frustration!
-
Log religiously and exercise!
-
Whoa nicely done.
-
If your fitness level is above average the exercise equipment will overestimate actual calories burned. You're much better off using a heart rate monitor that calculates calories.

Join the crowd! I think it's the choice of more carb and calorie conscious food that's getting me. However 35 days in and the weight is coming off on schedule!
