belated posting about this, but during the winter holidays, I couldn't lend my brother any pairs of trousers, because finally, I'm smaller than him. All my life (yes including childhood), despite him being 4 years older and also taller, I was so fat that I was bigger and couldn't borrow his.

I'm 6 foot, naturally lanky limbs and no boobage to speak of; I got to my "doctor recommended" weight of ~158 lbs a couple of times (currently gained back some) and I still had quite a lot of belly fat, so my new goal for now is 150. If I find I look good before hitting it, of course I'll stop before then, and vice versa.

I agree with many others saying the first one was the easiest, I think the hardest part is right after you stop losing fast, like one does when switching to a healthy routine from an unhealthy period, and you have to keep working with less instant reward (but be patient, as reward always does come!) I am keeping my new year's resolution... and so far I have lost 8.4 lbs in 55 days! (didn't actually start on Jan 1... :smile: )

yes! But I actually prefer the books... My faves from the books are Arya, Jon, Bran, Davos, Stannis, Brienne, Dolorous Edd and Jaimie#2 (after he becomes a POV and we see him under a new light). Who do you like?

I often have:coffee with a splash ( 50 g ) fat free protein enriched milk (19kcal), 2 slices of whole wheat toast (122kcal), 1 teaspoon of creamed peanuts [it's like peanut butter but without anything added to the peanuts] - (11gr, 69kcal) and a generous teaspoon of sugarfree light blueberry or cherry jam (30 g , 21kcal).…

Even if I'm not maintaining yet, that's exactly what I do, too. I use the weight as a reminder to start the day well (i.e. not go overboard at breakfast which would snowball into going overboard all day). But I know there are fluctuations so for *tracking* purposes I always look at a longer period trend.
