if you want to amp up the protein and turn down the carbs, at breakfast with your eggs instead of toast, as you said you eat toast, have a few slices of avacado it's a healthy source of protein and fat. At lunch instead of having your tuna,egg salad or turkey and cheese on bread, put it in between lettuce to cut the carbs.

Try roasting your veggies, they taste much better that way. A little olive oil , what ever spices you like ( I use garlic powder, s&p, onion powder, oregano, rosemary...it depends on the veggie) 375-400 degrees place on cookie sheet turn every 15min till roasted they way you like. I think the best thing we all can do for one another as a group is to listen, to give encouragement and not to judge. We ALL know how we got here, and we ALL know how to make it better, but positive advice is so helpful on our journey. Some days are easy and some days are hard. VERY YUMMY.... I really LOVE avocado's, I use them as listed above....in my salads, mashed with tuna instead of mayo and they are great on top of a garden burger, as well as bean or turkey burgers with salsa instead if ketchup. Delish and Nutrish :)

yup you can add me too, just trying to make this a "lifestyle change" went hardcore for about six months and have been struggling for six months. BUT will never give up!!! Now just trying to get re-motivated to take off the holiday weight gain and then continue on my path.....:)

Okay, day one and my morning alarm didn't go off so I was late getting up, therefore no treadmill!!! I guess I will be getting up A LOT from my desk today taking walks......lol GOOD LUCK every one....one step at a time

I hear ya too, I have lost 48lbs so far and have 16 to go and have been struggling since July. I have some really GREAT days even weeks then I fall and lose ground. UGH!!! As long as we keep getting up and trying we have won half the battle, now lets GET up and STAY up and WIN THIS WAR!!!!!!
