I love that your gym has a great facility for care. It is so hard to find that anywhere. Most places are overrun with one teenage kid watching too many children at once. And I have noticed that some are very dirty. I take my 6 year old son, but would never bring my 8 month old daughter because the childcare in my gym is…

Shakes are good if you have a nutribullet in your dorm room. Also fresh fruit and veggies bagged for snacks and you can get the 100 calorie hummus or guacamole to dip them in.

Good advice! I am going to be straight forward and interview them before I even pay. About four years ago I wanted to do trx and got a great trainer. I lost 20lbs with her after my first baby. She was intense. I need that. Not someone who wants to talk and stretch me out. Too bad I am about an hour from my old gym.

Yes! That is what turned me off in the first place. I asked about training sessions and got hit with a diet plan?! Thanks, but I can grill my own chicken and veges :-)! Lol

thank you I will look into the certifications. I may need to go outside the gym to find a good one since my experience wasn't the greatest, but unfortunately that may get expensive.

How do I assess whether or not a trainer is good? What questions should I ask? I really know how to eat and how to get cardio in. I really just want someone to help with the free weights. Do I focus on that when speaking with them? There are only 3 , trainers at my gym. It is very small.

Thanks for the advice. Did you create your own routines? If so how did you do it? Are there any good websites that would guide me in creating a routine that you know of? I feel once I know what I should be doing then it wont be as bad. Sort of a plan of attack.
