Another vote for overnight oats! I love them. I use a quarter cup of old-fashioned oats, a cup of non-dairy milk ( I like soy as it's creamy), a quarter cup of blueberries, a tablespoon of chia seeds and a tablespoon of ground flaxseed. Shake it all up in a mason jar and leave it in the fridge overnight. It's delicious!

Yeah, I walk for a couple of blocks before I start running. I didn't use to, but I feel it helps me warm up a bit. I also walk at the end.

2 and a half years vegan here. Hello!

Actually, it is true - a diet heavy in animal products is directly linked to many types of cancer and heart disease and the World Health Organization has listed red meat as a carcinogen.

Another vegan here. 2 and a half years now.

For breakfast try overnight oats - it's so simple - add in oats (I add a quarter cup) with a tablespoon of chia seeds (I also add flaxseed) some frozen fruit and a cup of plant milk. Shake it up and leave overnight - it's delicious. For lunches if you are prepping them all on the weekend for the week make things like a…

Greek yogurt, cottage cheese, beans and pulses, eggs, egg whites, tofu, veggy protein burgers. And of course protein bars and shakes.

I have a set of dumbbells and a bench. You might find it tricky with the adjustable weights as you need to change weights fast in between sets. You might need to pause the workout. I don't log my exercise on here.
-
I'm not surprised you ended up doing that if you were only in 1100 cals a day. Why so low? You shouldn't be under 1200.

Dumbbells helped me too. I soon progressed on to an olympic bar with weights. Stick at it!!

I do BodyBeast workouts quite regularly, but I mix it up with other stuff. Love the Beast!!

Fantastic loss! Well done!

Start slowly! Work out your calorie allowance with MFP for slow weight loss. Aim for 1-1.5lb a week for long-term weight loss, and to keep your diet maintainable. Don't go into diet mode and eat dust and salad. Slow and steady is the name of the game. Take it one day at a time. If you mess up one day, don't let it ruin the…

Hey, it sucks when the weight creeps back on! At least you caught it early. It could have been worse! You know what to do! Feel free to add me if you want a cheerleader :)

I'd recommend you look at IIFYM (If it fits your macros) - there's a calculator on the site that you can use to work out how many calories and macronutrients (fat, carbs, protein) you need to eat to bulk your weight. Have a look at http://iifym.com/iifym-calculator/ Weight training will also help you to build muscle while…

I've been there!! It's so discouraging isn't it! But fitness is something you need to build and work on. Next time you do the video you might be able to do 11 minutes, next time 15 minutes. You'll be surprised how quickly your fitness level will increase. But if you feel that you are about to pass out, I think the exercise…

Okay, my advice is a bit different to above. I don't think you need to eat clean all the time and exercise constantly to lose weight. Eating clean is great, but it's hard for a lot of people. Just controlling your portion sizes will help. Still to the calories allocated to you by MFP and you will lose weight. You can lose…

If she's binge eating from depression, it's not so simple to say "stop it". Pinky, you need to get some help for your depression so that you can get your eating under control. I know it's hard when you live away from home. I've lived away from my home country and family for 4 years ow (and I was in Asia for 3 years!). It's…

If you weigh yourself regularly you'll know when you are gaining? I don't understand your question. Are you asking how to get it back under control? If so, you go back to basics. You count calories, and track everything.
-
Good luck. What are those numbers? Start/Current/Goal Weight?

Lose the weight the smart way with good nutrition and exercise you enjoy. Gradual weight loss is key to keeping it off long term, which I'm guessing is your goal.
-
I don't see what the season has to do with it. I assume you will join the gym to do more than walk on a treadmill? Do you use the cardio machines? Lift weights? If so, you would make use of it summer and winter.

Hi both, I've reached my goal, and have maintained my weight for 6 years. Add me if you need any help or motivation :)

I drink sparkling water all the time. Never done me or my weight loss any harm.

Never go under 1200

Thank you everyone *blushes*

What kinds of foods do you eat at breakfast and lunch? Remember that to lose weight you don't need to eat less. You can actually eat a lot of food as long as you are eating a nutritionally balanced diet. Do you buy lunch at work?

Hi and welcome and good luck with becoming healthier :)
