Are you eating better food though? You can eat a lot and still lose weight as long as you are eating a clean diet. But obviously you still need to eat at a calorie deficit to lose weight. Try to eat more protein as it helps keep you fuller for longer.

I do weight training at home and follow a few of the different Beachbody workouts like P90X and BodyBeast. There are good workouts available on Bodybuilding.com but no videos for you to follow. Have a look on YouTube too to see if there are any free workouts available. I think it would be good to follow video instruction…

Are you hungry often? How many cals does MFP have you on per day?
-
Oh, and I don't eat mine.

People have different results with eating back exercise cals, so you would need to try it. I'd only recommend you eat about 50% of them back if you do decide to try using them. The biggest problem is that it's very difficult to work out accurately how many calories you are burning through exercise, so you could…

To tone, you need to build muscle. Switch out some cardio and do some weight training. A mix of cardio and weight training will get you the results you want. But remember you can't out-train a bad diet. So make sure you are eating well.

I've kept my weight off for 6 years. A bunch of different stuff has worked for me. Mainly staying strict in my eating and tracking during the week, but relaxing more on weekends. Realizing that the changes you made need to become permanent - you can't go back to the way you were or the weight will go right back on. Also…

I've seen a lot of women get excellent results in getting a flat stomach after a c-section. One woman I know has amazing abs and she had triplets by c-section. Some of it is down to good genetics though. You can do it!

Argghhh ignore my post - I missed the last page!

Ok, I'm curious. What did you do on Sunday to burn 1,500 cals?!

Same here!

Don't lower your calories too soon. Take it slow and steady. If you eat too few calories now, you will find you need to eat less and less as you lose weight which will become too hard. Your diet needs to be maintainable for you to stick to it. I don't add in my workout cals to MFP. I don't like that it adds them on to the…

Legumes: lentils, soybeans, tofu, tempeh, lima beans Grains: quinoa, fortified cereals, brown rice, oatmeal Nuts and seeds: pumpkin, squash, pine, pistacio, sunflower, cashews, unhulled sesame Vegetables: tomato sauce, swiss chard, collard greens

If you weigh it uncooked, track it uncooked If you weigh it cooked, track it cooked You can do either. I weigh it before.

A lot of people gain weight when they start to exercise as your muscles retain water. But, if you say you are snacking more than usual, then it's likely you are gaining weight as you are no longer in a calorie deficiency. Carbs are not the enemy! If you make sure you eat a balanced combination of protein, carbs and fat…

You do still burn calories doing strength exercises, but nowhere near as much as during cardio. Strength work absolutely does help you to lose weight. It will enable you to build muscle which will mean your body will burn calories more efficiently, and it will give you the "toned" look that so many people are after. Many…

Look into HiiT workouts on YouTube. They are high intensity so you can fit it in at home, in about 20 minutes. Would probably suit your busy schedule.
-
Overestimate instead. Go with the highest cal version of the food that you can find on MFP. Some people also like to add in an extra measure of olive oil when tracking a takeaway too, to allow for extra oil used in restaurant/take away meals.

Just take it one day at a time. Try not to think about the total amount of weight you have to lose, and break it down into smaller more manageable goals. Make your first challenge to lose 7lb, and when you hit it, reward yourself with something nice (not food!). Just focus on each day at a time. With exercise, start slowly…

You could try different exercises indoors like jump rope training, or HiiT workouts. Have a look on YouTube and you will find a bunch of free workouts you can do at home. I like Zuzka Light and Bodyrock TV, or you can find Jillian Michaels workouts on there. Loads of interesting workouts you could do at home.

Best of luck with it! You can totally do this!

You look fantastic!! Great core and legs!

Great minds think alike @hncary :)

No your BMR is what your body needs if you don't move at all, all day! Your TDEE (Total Daily Energy Expenditure) is the number you want to work from which also takes into consideration your activity level. See http://iifym.com/tdee-calculator/ for more

Not safe to do a juice diet for that long. Neither is is sustainable. Any weight you lose will go straight back on when you start to eat food again. To lose weight, AND keep it off, do it slowly through counting your cals and getting some exercise in.

Yes, try eating more carbs. Seems to be lacking from your diet at the moment.
-
What do you eat in an average day now? Do you eat fruit? Health carbs? Brown rice, sweet potato, quinoa? Cheese?
-
Happy Birthday!! :D

I've been doing this myself with good results so far.
