I'll stick with 1460 at the moment and see how I go, 1200 was just too low for me. If it doesn't work then I'll drop to 1300.

It really made me chuckle :D

Thanks all, some awesome advice. Should I be trying to meet 100% of my nutritional goals everyday? Is the proportion of carbs and protein ok or should I lower my carb intake a little?

Using the IIFYM calculator I input exercise 3 x a week Do you think I'm eating too many calories to lose? Or have I got it all wrong?
-
Not sure what you mean?

You're probably right! Perhaps my goals are a little aggressive, therefore I have just recalculated my goals based on 0.5 loss and it allows me 1460 per day, im going to go with that as I've been feeling rather weak and fatigued this week. Its only 260 more calories, but it's probably what my body needs. As stated my TDEE…

Thanks folks! I need to be patient indeed. I'll stick to 1200 for the time being, the scales must shift at some point. Will defo start measuring myself as this will be good change monitor.

Yes I weight the same time each morning in my birthday suit lol!

I've just calculated my TDEE and its 1893 and BMR 1377 - how so I equate those numbers into the correct amount of daily calories??? Anyone? Thanks!

Yes 1 stone is 14lbs. I've set MFP to sedentary because of my job. I entered 1.5lbs loss per week which gave me 1200 calories, changing to 1lb loss p/w which only gave me an extra 10 calories ie 1210. I don't eat back my calories from exercise either so would have hoped even for a small loss?. I guess I'm being hasty, but…

I'm using my iPhone so it doesn't give you that option or at least I can't find it, so will log onto my laptop to see if it makes a difference. Thanks!

Will do! Thanks

I'm exercising very frequently so want to make sure I'm taking in enough to fuel my body, but to see results at the same time. I've been on a plateau for monthhence he reason I'm now using MFP to see where I've been going wrong. I might have just been eating/exercising just enough to maintain.

How do I find out if my setting is set on guided or manual please? I'm still trying to navigate myself round this app :)
-
That makes sense, just need to ensure I'm not under eating.

I guess guided. I input I wanted to lose 1.5lbs per week and this is what it calculated. Have I set it up incorrectly?
-
How did you manage that? Well done!
