  • Hi there, my doctor said there was no point in resting me, he thinks the triple therapy would have eradicated the infection. So far I have been a lot better although still phlegmie, the stuck in the throat thing comes back every now and again, but mainly free from it but still not feeling 100%, the huge dose on antibiotics…
  • I wish I took measurements at the start, seems pointless to start now as I my body has changed quite a bit. I know I shouldn't be a slave to the scales, but I can't help it
  • No I don't eat any of my calorie back. Retention may be a contributing factor for sure.
  • So take this week as a typical week: Monday: 2 x 5k runs Tuesday; 45 mins circuit weight session Wednesday: Zumba + 45 mins on the elliptical trainer & treadmill Today: 45 mins body balance class
  • It's got to be weeks ago, I go up and stay there for a while then take days/weeks to get back to the starting point. Ie: Im at the same weight today as I was March 15th and have gone back and forth since then. I have double up on cardio twice a week for the last month or so this is in addition to my usual training sessions.
  • I have it set to sedentary, but never eat any of the calories back.
  • I weigh and measure everything I eat so i'm pretty certain my logging is as correct as it can be. I don't think my burns are true, thus my deficit isn't true.
  • I really don't know what to do for the best. I so so want to lighter, thinner and stronger at the same time I don't want to put my health at risk. So far my energy levels have continued to be high, I've had a few odd days though when I'm totally burnt out and takes me a couple of days to get back on track then away I go…
  • I keep bouncing back and fourth to the same weight and can't seem to push past it. At times I will gain a few pounds then takes a week or so to get back to my originally weight. I never seem to able to push past this current weight?. I have been at these deficits since I guess I started MFP but have increased my exercise…
  • My stats are ; height 5ft 5.5 / age 42 / female/ current weight 10st 8.5 (as of this morning). Thanks!
  • My stats are; age 42 / height 5.5 / female. My diary is open. Thanks all!
  • Hi there, I'm here trying to lose 10lbs but having a hard time doing so. I track everything I eat, stay in deficit and excersise, but I keep going up and down in weight. I know weight loss isn't linear but I'm getting quite frustrated with myself. I just don know where/what I'm doing wrong???. What's been your experience?
  • Sorry for all the typos :)
  • Hiya, I do believe I've had it for years. A few years back I had some bloods taken and I called a call from a locus doctor at my surgery who told my I had the big "C" because my white cell count was abnormally low, I was admitted into hospital and had bloods taken every hour, they finally let me out because the count…
  • No I don't give myself a "pass" as such but I do give into my craving during that time ie chocolate. One thing for sure is that i ensure I stick within my calories goal for that day. Some months are harder than others, so I just go with the flow (no pun intended)
  • It's day 2 for me today and doing much better. Chewing gum is helping take the edge off (only just) though! I've taken myself off the the gym again this evening to keep me occupied. Tomorrow is a new day. Good luck y'all
  • That's exactly how I felt yesterday! I'm feeling human again this morning despite my little blip yesterday lol!! Let's hope it continues that way
  • Life is too short to be cramping AND starving lol[/quote] LOL! 100%
  • It's not easy being female, right?. I'm just back from the gym I manage d a long run and lifted some heavy weights. It's definitely what I needs and no longer feel ravenous. Tomorrow is anew day so will try to co trol it better. My sister has endometriosis so I know exactly how you feel. It's awful. Yes I guess lowering…
  • I found it and it says 2313 net calories but what does this mean?
  • Haha!! I've just found it again and says my (net) calories are 2313. Is this my deficit?
  • Thanks both! It's a miracle I haven't gone trough the roof with calories today. I'm trying to fill up with hot drinks and water but have been so snacky and am seriously craving chocs. I feel so guilty as I've eaten a lot of crap! So I've decided I'm going to take myself off to the gym for an hour then home and straight to…
  • Did you also have a biopsy taken and did you have to retest once you finish the course of meds? Sorry for all the questions
  • Many thanks for sharing! I'm looking forward to getting back to my former self and hopefully a few pounds lighter. It's day one of the meds for me, I have weeks course so hopefully i start to see some results during this time. Reading up on the symptoms I can't believe how many I identify with, it's a nasty thing. But…
  • It sure is miserable! I think I've had this for a long time, symptoms has got worse over the last year or so. Although I have always been good with eating health and am always exercising I just couldn't explain why my weight would increase. More recently I have been suffering with heartburn and the feeling of something in…
  • Will do!
  • I was think it was more dehydration than anything else. Although I didn't drink masses. It was my dads birthday party so let my hair down little. I've left a little deficit wiggle room this week in order to do that. I have been 100% on plan so indeed there might be fat loss too.
  • That's what I was thinking. I've drunk more than that in the past and have never been lighter the next day that's why I threw the question out there. Oh well onwards and upwards.
