  • Every single one of the 'diets' reviewed ensured that the calories were restricted... The time limited eating meant she didn't eat any snack late at night, the Fast Food diet was simply calorie restriction (but really unhealthy as he 'spent' ALL of his calories on cr@p!!) - just take a look and you'll see there is NOTHING…
  • Lancashire lass here, now living if deepest, darkest Norfolk!
  • I'm in - again, a week-day desk worker that needs to move more!!
  • Done one (if it counts!) I was going to buy a book I needed from Amazon but have instead gone to my local bookstore. £1.50 more expensive but a whole load better!
  • This has made me smile - no problem! Catch you later.
  • You've made me giggle! I was born the year after decimalisation but yet I still hanker after old money!! And to bring it back to weight loss - in those days I wouldn't be 'overweight', 'obese' or 'morbidly obese' I would be 'fat', 'really fat' or 'fuc@ me she's fat!'
  • Lots of Great advice in there, Jon, but even my northern sensibilities could find bits of it a bit harsh! I hope you're able take the advice, Karen, good luck!
  • Haha! I'm completely decimal on everything apart from weight...and even weight I can't do in pounds it has to be stones and pounds. That may say more about my sh!te Maths than anything else!
  • I happily add water in to my day, but a rarely replace another drink...so I'll ave a glass of water with every glass of wine this evening!! (I'm going to be up to the loo goodness knows how many times tonight!)
  • Actually I disagree. I think that it is through helping others that we learn more about helping ourselves. A little bit of 'do as I say not as I do' if you will. I have found myself in the past advising people (in my everyday life) and whilst doing that thinking that I ought to take my own advice. As time has gone on I…
  • I didn't do anyang more than the walk. BUT that was a 40min stroll through the woods that DID NOT feel like exercise but was something I never do on a work day. So I am counting this as a plus and my goodness, it did me good!
  • Hi Jon, Got room for a fat Lancashire lass? I'm always up for a chat and some straight talking (I don't know any other way!)
  • I'm going for a walk in the woods with my daughter this afternoon - nothing new there! But after that I'll try out some new yoga poses on the wii (alternated with strength training) Is that new enough?
  • Haha! Love it Megan! I too hate cleaning, but OH has been keen to finish off all his DIY jobs and we had to clear the cupboard in order for him to ay the floor. Looks great now, though!
  • I missed my exercise class this evening due to an over-run meeting. Gave up and flopped on the sofa for the night... But then swapped my lethargy for a quick 20mins wii step!
  • I'm pleased with myself - just swapped my mid-afternoon coffee for a glass of sparkling water. Tick!
  • Not many cheerleaders by the side of the rugby pitch, Em! (And it's League not Union in Chesterfield isn't it?)
  • I'm going to find this one tricky - I follow a 5:2 lifestyle and today is a fasting day. I think the only healthy sway I can make is to change one of my cups of black coffee to a herbal tea! I'll let you know.
  • I now have a pile of frames and pictures in the boot of the car to take to the charity shop!
  • Haha! and 'Mr.Wobbly' the pictures I have in mind should be censored!
  • I think you are a mind-reader! Me and OH are just about to clear out under the stairs! Cathartic sorting - looking forward to it!
  • Haha! Didn't have time to read today's challenge as I was too busy focussing on myself! Me and OH had a 'date night' (never tried this before...) We sent the kids off to grandparents and went to the cinema (Kingsman - much recommended!) then out to Nando's for some cheeky chicken. Home for wine and computer games. - Fun!
  • I've just had a better choice breakfast because of the challenge! Instead of white toast and fried mushrooms I had oats, muesli, fruit and plain yoghurt. Yum!
