This is exactly why I came back to MFP. I lost about 17lbs on smart points and kind of fell off the wagon when freestyle rolled out. The other day I tracked on here what I had tracked on WW, and even though I was over in points, I still had like 400+ calories left on here. So, giving MFP another try!

Thank you for updating this thread! I just downloaded C25k (again, lol) and was having doubts about getting out there and being seen. This is giving me some inpiration!

Love this thread! Following for inspiration :)

Or fill an old water bottle about 3/4 way full, freeze it, and use that to roll your foot on. The can sounds like a good idea too! I have plantar fasciitis in my left foot, so any kind of massage is heavenly. Painful but heavenly. :D

I did one of her Youtube videos a couple of weeks ago, and it was fun. The music gets anoying, but it was a decent workout and something different than the norm.

Mine used to sync up, but I haven't had any luck since upgrading my iOS this weekend. :(

I wouldn't think so, that's around 5 miles or so. There are a lot of great apps like Sworkit, or You Tube channels like Fitness Blender that you can do at home if you want to switch things up.

I'm considering starting again using the alternative products. I have some dairy items at home that no one else will eat (greek yogurt, cottage cheese, etc), so I'm finishing those off and hopefully can start at the end of the week.

That is my worst time of day too. I like having string cheese or grape tomatoes on hand, and I like strawberry Kefir too, it's a yogurt smoothie type drink. It's filling but not too filling, and is high in protein.

I needed to see this thread today. :D I can't do more than a few minutes on it either.

That is awesome!! Congrats on your NSV :D

I don't know about the elliptical comparison, but I've noticed that when I walk on concrete it tends to make my feet and legs more sore. When I've went and walked on the high school track, it doesn't do that. I guess there's a little cushion to the track maybe? Sorry, I know that's not much help, but it may be worth a try…

I weigh every other day or so but only log it if there is a loss. I know weight loss isn't linear, but I like to see a downward trend on my progress graph. ;)

I"m looking to lose 50 and decide from there if I want to lose more. Not aiming to be a hardbody, just healthier and more active. Feel free to add me :)

Walking is a great start! I had the same surgery 2 years ago, and walking was about all I was up for when I was released to exercise. I do yoga, and some stuff from the Sworkit app or Fitnessblender, but walking has always given me good results, and it's easy, lol. Listen to your body and don't try to do too much too soon,…

Ultimate Yogi series with Travis Elliot. There are a couple of freebies of it on youtube, and you can buy the disk from Amazon or the website.

I love yoga! It's been my primary form of exercise lately. I'm going to have to check this out.

I try and pre log my days too, as much as I can. Sometimes it's hard because I might not know what I'm making for supper, but breakfast and lunch are easy since I bring them to work from home. For me it's all about moderation and not denying myself anything. I try and work in a glass of wine or two squares of Lindt…

I am in the same boat. My last check up shows that I am still healthy, no issues with blood pressure, cholesterol, etc...but my BMI is 40. I'm looking to lose 50 so I can continue to stay healthy. I sent you a friend request, and anyone with the same goals feel free to send me one!
