Are you logging your intake accurately? Using a food scale? If you aren't weighing everything or are guessing how much you are eating it is possible that you are eating more than you think you are. Thanks for the quick response. Upon adjusting my goals I realized I had my activity level set to sedentary, from back when I first started and didn't exercise much. I go to the gym 3-4 times a week now, so I should probably change it to lightly active. Oops.

I love rice cakes! They come in so many different flavors. For salty cravings I like the buttered popcorn ones, or lightly salted for sweet I like the caramel ones.

My mom had a similar problem and she was able to kick the habit cold turkey for about a year. She drinks soda again now, but before she just stopped drinking it, cold turkey. She did get headaches for the first few days but she says they weren't that bad, and once you're past them it gets a lot easier. Good luck!

There isn't really a magic time that you should be eating. I enjoy eating breakfast so I usually eat it right when I get up (around 6:15). Perhaps the panting is happening because you are over stretching yourself without being warm enough? I am a dancer and have always been told to stretch less before exercise and more after. I have avocado on my toast in the morning sometimes with eggs and kale/spinach over top. It's really good. I've also made pasta with a lemon sauce that had avocado in it. Very tasty!

I completely agree. I learned early in childhood that you shouldn't discuss others weight. It's just not right. I also had several friends in high school who had eating disorders so weight couldn't be discuss around them. Just based off of that alone I never talk about weight in public settings so I don't trigger anyone.
