I've found mine to be pretty accurate compared to my heart rate monitor. I don't pay attention to the machines or apps...I use them to log, but then adjust the kcal burn # based on my monitor.

Congrats! Keep up the good work :) I set lots of little goals....mainly because I like having an excuse to buy myself something I wouldn't normally. :)

When I got pregnant with my son (9+ years ago) I was 251...I lost 22 lbs. during the length of my pregnancy...gained it all back with his first year plus 20+ lbs.

Used it...lost 21 lbs. in 3 months over 5 years ago when it first came out as Alli at Costco. Yes, you will most likely lose wight. So yes, in a sense it will work. Only read on if you have a tough stomach and are open-minded enough to... Firstly, it ups the anxiety to uncontrollable levels (if you suffer from it or even…

Dude!! Awesome transformation! How has maintenance been?

I started 3.5 years ago the first time at 272, got down to 213. Had surgery on one foot, yo-yo'd a bit. Got back to 210. Had surgery on the other foot, went back up to 250. Jan. 28th: 250 Today: 216 A loss of 34 lbs. and a rate of 2.6 lbs a week...mind yiu I'm still considered a level 2 obese....so loss happens pretty easy…

Gave it up in 2009. Had BAD flu in 2012, SO gave me a ginger ale, which I promptly threw up (flu). Nothing else since 2009 though.

Ditto! And no bending over...or they slide right down my butt. Only takes once to learn that lesson. :| Cleaning out 2/3 of my closet because it is too big!! XD Finding that while my remain wardrobe is small, they all seem to be versitile pieces...plus a small stack of pants that are wearable, but too snug for comfort just…

I use lemon, grapefruit, and orange to flavor my water, but that's just for taste. :)

Same as above posters...I had it for 4 days, lost 5 lbs. Came back as soon as 8 was able to start keeping stuff in. :/ But, just jumped back to the track and will be back there in no time :)

Increase your weight training a notch, and focus on getting you protein macros. :) Good luck!

The fat on the inside of my knees (well, right above them) no longer rubs together X) And my thighs are thisclose to not rubbing, just slightly touching :)

Hmmm, gave up soda in 2009. Mostly, it's a 32 oz. Nalgene bottle filled with ice water and 5 drops of grapefruit essential oil. Multiple by three a day :)

That running has kept me sane. People can be really mean. Once you are eating healthy and taking care of yourself, you find that that "cheat day" does more damage than good....especially to your bowels :/ Hanging skin sucks balls. Infections and creams....daily. Not everyone will be supportive. In fact, some people, even…

I do Insanity. Every exercise I wear a Polar FT7 (Heart monitor) that tells me how many calories I burn. I've talked to several people about how much they burn doing the same workout and it ranges from 150 to 750. It all depends on your stats, speed, ability, etc. I generally burn 175 to 348 per workout. I plug it into MFP…

I started a month ago. I've lost 20 lbs. and 13 inches. I restarted month one because I know I cannot do the Max stuff yet. I am now able to do all of the exercises though, so after this month I may move on to the max stuff :) I heavily modified everything in the beginning...i couldn't even do the butt kicks!! Movement is…

I've been there, several years ago. I lost a little weight after a week or so of doing them. But, they ended up screwing up my gallbladder and I had to have surgery to remove it. Plus, within a week of stopping I gained it all back.
-
It's because you are not eating enough. The 1200 calorie diet means to eat 1200 calories. If you exercise, you need to eat more. Most people here eat back 50 to 75 percecnt of what they work off.
-
Yeppers, started at at 38/40 DD (Full)...and currently at a 36 D. Not a huge drop, but I've only lost 20 lbs so far.

Oh I've got all kinds of people and things to place the blame on. My mother/my childhood and her lack of teaching me proper eating habits. etc. My childhood...dear goodness, lets never go back there. My marriage, my job, my emotions, depression, weight gain, lack of will power, etc. But really it was me not wanting to say…

A-MAZE-ING!!! Huge congrats to you and your success!!

I'm in! I prefer to choose to be KIND and positive! :)

Clarification: IF I have continued sores, chaffing, or infction(s) she will do everything she can LEAGALLY to deem it medically necessary to get it taken care of. No guarantee either way. As I am already dealing with minor infections, she is noting everything for the case, should the need arise. Honestly I'm hopeful not to…

I second, third and fourth this.

The feels. We get you...we have have struggles and there is no perfect body anyways. We are always here to talk and rant with ya! Remember, we are our own worst critics. Most likely you look better then you feel :) Chin up buttercup! You'll get there. Keep working to balance your protein needs to cals. Most gyms will give…

The difference is amazing. Eating out is very difficult and I've found that most waiters/waitresses get frustrated with my questions. But oh well, I only eat out once a week now.

Same page here...past 4 or 5 days (the witch is due any day) have been creeping up. I've been within my limits everyday. Was getti ng so frustrated than a friend asked me about her sudden gain and it came to me. I compared my cycle (I track using an app), to MFP ups and downs. It's matches.

I know the feeling. I've actually stopped talking to by biggest criticiser...mother. Everything out of her mouth is negative. My day to day home life is filled with people munching all day, eating sweets whenever, and not eating healthy. I can't count how many times a day I have to say, "No thank you." We are here for you…
