If you think your calorie total is low that's fine. If you are feeling supper hungry all the time up that number and slow your wieght lose down.

I have lost weight using the app. Just adding what you eat makes you more aware of over eating. For example, if what to hang out Friday I save calories during the week. This allows for a beer or two on any Friday. My goal now is too loose ten pounds. We can support each other.
