Sounds pretty good but I'd definitely consider adding in a bit more variety. Maybe try one new thing every week, a different veg, spice rub, or salsa could really perk this plan up and make it more sustainable.

A bunch of radishes with salt, sliced apples with a sprinkle of cinnamon and sugar, sliced strawberries with a dollop of cool whip, frozen tube of Greek yogurt.

My dad and brother rabbit hunt. Not sure if farm-raised rabbit is the same or not, but here's what we do. Parboil the rabbit whole. Quarter it , season and cook in a very hot cast iron skillet with a little butter until nicely browned and crispy on both sides. It's very tasty!

Spindrift lemon seltzer

Strawberry chobani in tubes, (I know they're for kids), put them in the freezer and eat them like an ice pop. Delicious!

Cabot.

Ha-ha, that's great!

Frozen banana thing above sounds like a winner!! I like dried figs, hardboiled eggs with sriracha, laughing cow spread on a toasted English muffin half, a nice big deli pickle, sliced turkey, any type of berries.

Cashews, natural cheese, beef

This is basically what I gave up too. It's a win-win for me because the healthier stuff tastes better too!

This is basically what I was going to say. Lots of proteins to choose from, some even have fewer calories than chicken. My kids actually love salmon, shrimp, steak and pork tenderloin. Mix up a couple different spice rubs, barbecue or jerk for example, and store them in your pantry. Sprinkle it on your meat or fish and…

Figs with semisoft cheese like brie or Camembert, Carr's rosemary crackers and a glass of red wine if I have enough calories left at the end of the day. If I need a lower calorie option- a couple slices of deli turkey and a pickle

Lots of family coming for a feast and Easter egg hunt for the kiddies. Menu will be maple baked ham, asparagus, roasted potatoes, fruit platter, mini egg salad sandwiches, pasta shell salad with shrimp, lemon and dill, some type of banana cake for dessert.

Haha, never tried any type of diet other than portion control. So glad to have been spared the discomfort of becoming a "human play-doh press" or choking on a carrot "puck"

2% milk, full fat everything else!

I have butter every day, haven't touched margarine in years. It just tastes gross to me.

High fiber foods! Prunes, figs, raisin bran, fiber one bar, apples with the skin on. Beans.

I like these too, especially spinach pockets. Also "good food made simple" mac and cheese. I wouldn't say they are super healthy but have few ingredients, are filling and reasonably low in calories.

Burger with pepper jack cheese on a toasted bun, tossed salad with ranch on the side

^^^^ Sounds like we've got the same idea! <3 [/quote] Haha, yes I think so! I always call this a ratatouille, (probably inaccurate), it is sooo good!
-
This is exactly what I do. Have them as a side or add to a cold salad.

Add me as a friend if you want, many of meals are under 500, especially lunches. These aren't recipes of course but I think you'll get the idea. :)

I had a great combo for dinner tonight- diced eggplant, yellow squash, baby Portobello mushrooms, and red bell pepper. Drizzle with a bit of olive oil, salt and pepper to taste. Roasted at 425 for 40 minutes. I served it alongside a marinated pork tenderloin with a bit of balsamic vinegar and a baked potato. Sooo easy and…

Sautéed or roasted veggies (my favorites are sauteed kale, mushrooms and onions or roasted butternut squash cubes), topped with a runny fried egg and a squirt of sriracha or whatever condiment you like. I make extra veggies at dinner and use the leftover ones for this sometimes. If you have enough calories left over, pile…

Half a high fiber English muffin topped with a sausage patty, runny fried egg and a squirt of sriracha, hot orange pekoe tea. It was delish!

Can't wait to try this! Do you season them with salt, pepper, garlic powder or something else?
-
cucumber salsa sounds delicious, thanks!

I think you'd look great at 180! That's a very reasonable goal. There will be people who tell you they are worried about how thin you're getting, (sigh)! I usually ask them why they weren't worried when I was 50 lbs overweight. People are just thoughtless sometimes, maybe a tad jealous too.

The before was taken in June 2015 when I was down about 20 lbs from my heaviest, the after is a couple days ago (down 50+ lbs).

Good information. The muffin is surprising.
