3 months in this keto LS and I have a flat stomach again!! I was starting to get the middle age preggo belly and thought I'd never have a flat stomach again...but I do!! 15 lbs down 10-12 more to go. Also I'm down from my 'really fat jeans' to just my 'sortof fat jeans'...hoping to get in the 'normal' jeans soon. lol.

my daughter was sick and is on SCD diet [similar to keto]...anyway she really wanted chicken noodle soup. I used rice cauliflower. Chicken broth. Water. Celery. Chicken. Various spices. She enjoyed. I did add carrots for her but you can omit for Keto.

i like to snack...string cheese; garlic or jalapeno or blue cheese stuffed olives; pickles. if i'm starving a quest bar.

omelettes. easy. egg salad w/ avocado. instant pot/slow cooker chicken w/olive oil salt and a lil water. Then add a lil G Hughes Sugar Free BBQ sauce serve on lettuce w peppers and dressing if desired [Tessame is good brand] Zoodles w Victoria Marinara and grilled chicken breast or zoodles sauteed in coconut oil on side…

i drink 2-3 days per week if I have alcohol in the house. lol. sometimes red wine sometimes vodka and sparkling ice. wine has more carbs but if you budget for it, go for it. Obviously you'll lose more without it.
-
i really like the tessame dressings [in refrigerated aisle]
-
Raos on farhead crust or zoodles.

stuck at 155 for 2 weeks...ugh....
-
why give up? you are better than you were 4 weeks ago, right? energy is up and you feel good...that's a win.
-
long walks with music or bike rides...get the endorphins going for mood...but do something that is easy and enjoyable for you and doesn't feel like 'exercise' ....
-
group fitness...currently in a boot camp but in the past a favorite pilates class or kickboxing...something where people know you and cheer you on, etc.
-
i find joining a boot camp or doing a groupon or something motivates me more than just going to the gym everyday. I'm all about accountability and if people know if i show up or not, it makes me go. once i get in the habit [2 months or so] it's hard to get out of the habit...whether working out or being lazy.... they say…

oops forgot to add NSV...i started running 2 times a week in addition to the boot camp I do 3 times a week using the 'Running for weight loss' app [looks like a flame]. And I've gone from 2.8 in the 40 minutes allocated to 3.3 in the same time...woo hoo. Recommend this app if you want to get into running...it has you walk…

I'm a little over a month in to my keto diet [started 8-1] and I'm down 12 pounds! I won a challenge for the month of August at my gym based on logging on MFP and weight loss and inches [lost 2 inches from waist chest hips and 1 from calves and arms]. I feel great and am getting closer to my goal! Start weight 167 current…

you already went out but vodka is usually a great choice. just don't mix with carb-y things. i have it at home and mix with a sparkling ice or a la croix. i also budget for a glass of red wine on occasion [because i love red wine].
-
i'm only 5'2" so that's part of the reason I'm 1200-1400 calories per day. I used to always be hungry trying to eat this little...until keto. fat is the key to feeling full. It's not drinking tons and tons of water. It's satisfying your hunger. ketogains is a great resource.

super easy.... burger with mushrooms provolone and tessame blue cheese dressing or wrapped with lettuce pickles mustard applegate farms turkey slices mustard havarti wrapped in romaine lettuce leaves or just wrapped together zuchini noodles in olive oil or coconut oil on side with chicken and parmesan scrambled eggs with…

i work out so i am for .8 per pound of lean mass. so based on my lean mass being calculated at 100 i aim for 80 g. have you done a calculator? ketogains has a good one.
-
Low carb worked for me in my thirties now in my forties and struggling so I switch to ketogenic and it's awesome.
-
if it was easy, everyone would be fit and healthy. it's hard work. tcunbeliever maybe you could just plan 1 big meal with wine on the weekend? if you pre-plan it and know you get it, might be easier to stick to it? best of luck. i do a bootcamp which is mainly anaerobic mon wed fri probably 45 minutes [plus warm up/ cool…

I'm doing the urine as a newbie and waiting for them to stop showing to splurge and get the breath meter ketonix. seems more reasonable over long haul and i don't like pricking my fingers. but i like jimmy moore.

yes and therefore...very little fruit...most of carbs come from green leafy veggies and proteins and fats...'incidental' carbs.

loving the running app except every now and again i accidently scroll out of the pace i'm on and have to redo 2-3 minutes. ugh. lol. Getting ready to run now.... anyone have a good yoga youtube channel or free app? thanks. thinking 2 20-30 min sessions a week would be nice to add to my routine...
