i think CICO is bunk personally. Google it...MFPers like to slam on anyone worrying about what they eat 'it's CICO' 'why are you worrying about that' if it fits your calories eat it.....etc. If you are eating what you are eating and struggling, maybe what you are eating matters too?

went out to scotty's brewhouse yesterday and enjoyed a small bison burger without the bun with blue cheese cajun spices and mustard and mayo. side of steamed broccoli. delicious. I'm on week 3 9 pounds gone out of 25 goal.

i have the script it shows net carbs column and then it shows % net carbs % fat % protein next to each meal totals and daily total. note MFP doesn't care about net carbs and will still show carbs as over if you are over. I just ignore the red if my net are good.

i personally love ezekial bread and if it will fit with the macros heaven...my fave breakfast is 1 toasted ezekial bread 1/2 avocado and 1 egg fried....i'l have to see the macros on it...maybe that could be a sunday treat or something...

I put 1 calorie in for amount burned. I figure if I have a day when I need to eat more and I've exercised I can change amount burned.

I was fit in my 30s doing the high protein thing but I've tried and failed multiple times since so thought I'd try to do more fat to feel fuller. Today was really tough as I wasn't full. So I need to tweek my meals better for tomorrow.

i've always been of the thought that calories matter. don't they? today is my day 1 and didn't quite make it to 1200 so I need to tweek a bit tomorrow. don't want body to think it's starving right? good luck.

I'm 1200 also but doing the keto diet...I've done 2 calculators and 1 says 1149 and the other 1129 or something. what's up with that? I just put 1200 as my goal. I just put 0 calories for workouts. But I'm on day 1 this time around [ugh...].
