my polar knows my age, height, weight VO2 level. It's not perfect but much better than the machines or the fitbits IMHO.

blueberry bliss smoothie: 1 cup frozen blueberries, 1/2 T coconut oil, 1 cup blue diamond unsweetened almond milk, 1 scoop vanilla whey, 1 tsp chia seeds and some cherries...yummy.

you add lean proteins, leafy greens, other veggies, lots of berries and some fruit and lots of water to your diet. less processed, more real.

it seems like coke's ad campaign to discredit all the research against asparatame in diet coke starting in 2013 has worked. I'm not going to link studies. You can research and decide for yourself. I used to drink 4-5 cans of it a day. I still crave a fountain diet coke from McDonalds on occasion. But I know it's not good…

there have been so many studies on the adverse effects of diet soda. i have found that mineral water with lime or lemon or even the la croix gives me a 'soda fix' and is much better for me. My kids even love it. Weird I know but they do.

How about a handful of almonds and a piece of fruit like a clementine? My problem with snacks like that is they make me want more snacks like that...they aren't 'satisfying'.

I have lost 8 pounds...which didn't seem like much until I measured....2 inches from bust and waist...my hips stayed same [baby got back!] arms legs and neck went down an inch. woo ya!

I'm 5'2". Goal weight is 140 [maybe 135] with muscle. Currently 150.

i first got fit when i was 32/33. good for you. a great time to get your body in shape for life. i stayed fit until about 40...the diet [what you eat not 'diet'] becomes so important as you age so get it in check now. good luck.

welcome. i am a mom of 3 teens [well youngest is 12 but they're not little anymore]. totally understand your struggle. weight training as we age becomes more important to replace the fat that wants to stay and grow. I am in my 40s and got fit in my 30s through clean eating and weight training/cardio ...started struggling…

I like to make gigantic salads in big bowls...i cut it all up good with the salad dressing on so it mixes really well. Lots of veggies that you like and 2 eggs or 1 egg and some chicken. Sometimes I do salsa instead of dressing. I also sometimes steam a whole bag of cauliflower then put it in food processer and add a tsp…
