  • I'm awesome coated in awesome sauce. At least that's what I've been told.
  • I'm short and petite and am absolutely starving on 1200. MFP's calorie calculator tells me 1200, when ChooseMyPlate tells me 1600. I was losing weight just fine on 1600 and not near as hungry. I put basically the same info in each calculator, so I have no idea why there's a 400 calorie difference. I'm tossing back on the…
  • Way south, about an hour north of Houston.
  • Hi Bella...I'm not sure were Mabank is, but I live in Shepherd, just south of Livingston.
  • Every morning after I get up. If I've messed up anywhere and haven't been paying attention, I'll see when it starts catching up with me. I don't worry too much about fluctuations of 2-3 lbs., because generally it's water weight.
  • It motivates me. I look at these women that are so much larger than me, and I see how miserable they are. I also think of my grandma, how she was so big and had so many problems. I don't want to end up that way. I honestly don't think I would ever let myself go that far, but I have let myself go, and that is the point. If…
  • So about 136 lbs...I'm the same height, and the ideal weight for that height is between 98-135 lbs. I don't know what your bone structure is like, but for me, if I go anything below 135, I start to look too thin. I really wouldn't worry too much about about your weight.
  • I didn't give into the temptation to have two bad things, instead of just one. I walked away from the Keurig. Twice.
  • The only thing that HAS worked for me is calorie counting! It has made me very aware of what I'm eating, how much exercise I'm truly getting, and where I'm taking in empty calories. For a fact I eat a much healthier and balanced diet when I'm counting that if left to my own devices. Everyone has a unique way that their…

  • Weight loss has been a tough thing for me, too. I've never been a petite daisy and don't expect to have the body of a supermodel, but I know I have to do this for my own good. I intend to be around for a long time, so the best thing I can do for myself is take care of myself. First things first: Love yourself even if you…
  • I have the same issue, but I've managed a temporary compromise, with a goal of *possibly* one day drinking it black. CoffeeMate now makes a creamer called "Natural Bliss" that only has 35 calories per tablespoon. Since it's the sugar and cream already mixed, I don't add anything extra to my coffee. At the moment, I'm using…
  • I tried to ignore cheat days, but it just doesn't work that way. I'd end up trying to justify my indulgence, and it just allowed me to cheat a little more next time. In the long run, you'll just end up telling yourself it's okay, when you know it's not, and fall back into bad habits. I did, and now I'm trying to lose 20…
