Thank you for taking the time to give the whole backstory. You could have started at this year's january and we would have one of those nice success stories that completely hides all the difficulty that it takes to maintain day in day out overtime. Did I exercise for at least 20 minutes? Yes. Did I stay within my calorie budget for the day? Yes. Did I keep track of everything I ate and drank? Yes. I do read most posts and I know a lot of people do; I appreciate all the "hugs" I received when I mentionned I was sick.

I carry very little weight on my waist. I can be overweight and still pass the string test. But I definitely completely fail when I am obese (like now... sadly). But... I would prefer an absolute number. Some people can be tall and carry most of their weight around the waist... Aren't they at risk just the same?

My petty reason no.1 is a closet full of (size 8) clothes that I can't wear. Starting a new job soon and not wanting to buy fat clothes when I have perfectly great barely worn clothes already. Also, to be looked at as the beautiful one instead of dismissed as the fat one

Perfect for me as I have decided to not track my weight, but rather trust the process itself: move more (this challenge will encourage me to something daily), eat less (I do track my calories), and just track results by clothes feel and weekly measurements.
