This is my second time back at MFP. Lost 83 lbs in 2011, but found 75 lbs of it back. Looking to drop the weight and not find it again like the photo above says!

Hi Sara! Welcome to MFP! I joined back in 2011 and lost 83 lbs. Sadly, I've gained 75 lbs back so I'm looking to lose 75 lbs again.. Feel free to add me!

Wow, you lost 130 lbs just with diet alone? That's amazing!

Ok, request sent! :)

thanks! And yes, most definitely!

Great job on the weight loss so far!

I see we have similar goals....I'm aiming to lose 75 lbs. I lost 83 lbs in the past but gained 75 lbs back. Back then, I started with 1 hour of cardio 6 days a week along with about 30 mins of strength training twice a week. That worked great for me. When I lost the 83 lbs, I didn't have loose or saggy skin…

Hello, I'm 5'7 and currently weigh in at 268 lbs. Not married, but full-time parent to an amazing 6 year old boy! Feel free to add me

Mommy to a 6 year old boy! Full- time mother, full-time employee and part-time student! I came to MFP back in 2011 and lost 83 lbs. I maintained my weight loss for a couple of years, but recently gained 80 lbs back.....so here I am! I'm determined that we can both do this! Feel free to add me! :)

Wow, I felt like I was reading my own weight loss/gain story! I first came to MFP back in 2011. My start weight was 273 and I managed to lose 83 lbs, which brought me down to 190. I maintain that weight loss for well over a year!! It wasn't until 2015/2016 that I went food crazy again. I fell into a depression and let's…

I'm returning and looking to lose 70 lbs....We're basically in the same boat! Count me in! Feel free to add me as well!

I'm right here with you! I managed to lose 80 lbs in my past but gained pretty much all of it back. I want to lose 80 lbs....feel free to add me!

Wow! My journey is a little similar to yours. I lost 80 lbs right after I had my now 6 year old son. I had lots of energy, felt confident in anything I wore, and was more adventurous. Since then, my son's dad and I separated and I became a full time single parent. With all the changes going on, eating healthy was the last…

I'm 25... feel free to add me!

Glad this was helpful for you! We can do this!
-
that's amazing! Very encouraging to know that I'm not the only one losing the same pounds I've lost once before!
-
Awesome, I think we're friends on here now!

Thank you so much for your kind words and motivation!
-
You're exactly right!!! Thanks so much for your kind words!

You love yourself for where you are right now so that's a great thing! When I first started, I liked the way I looked, too. I'm 5'7 also and my starting weight was 272, I looked great in my opinion, BUT I felt miserable. I had to start thinking differently. Being healthy isn't determined by the way I look, but the way I…

I'm in a very similar boat...I've lost 80 lbs in the past and gained 60 lbs back. :( Feel free to add me!
-
Hi Chrissy! The biggest step anyone has to take toward a more healthy lifestyle is to START and you're already there. Congrats to you! I'll be happy to support you to reach your goals and vice versa! :)

Beautiful farewell letter to the old you....your old mindset and old ways! I wish you great success on this journey! :)

Ironically, I started my diet back in 2011 for the same reason! I went to six flags with family, tried to get on the Superman ride, but I couldn't fit. I had to take the embarrassing walk of shame. Since then I've lost 82 lbs but sadly, I've also gained 60 lbs of that weight back. I'm motivated to overcome this lifestyle…

I'm in the same boat! Back in 2011, I managed to lose 82 lbs total.....however, since then I've gained 60 lbs back. My weight has been up and down my entire life....I'm ready to conquer this lifestyle change for once and for all! :)

I very much agree with you on the spiritual side! Another why for me is losing my mother at the age of 14 due to a stroke (health related). I now have a 6 year old son and I don't want him to experience losing me like I've experienced losing my mother. I'm a single parent as well so I have to make sure I'm around for him…

Story of my life! I'm 5"7 and I've lost 80 lbs in the past but gained 50 lbs back....looking to lose 80 more pounds for a total of 110 lbs lost! Feel free to add me :)

Hello - I lost over 80 lbs a few years back....tragedy struck and I happened to gain 60 of those lbs back. Currently for the past two months, I've been trying to lose weight again and make this a lifestyle; not just a diet. I have my calories set at 1200 calories a day and I work out at least 5 times a week doing cardio…
