Any suggestions for how to do that better? Sometimes I have to eat on the go and I don't have a food scale in my car so when I eat 3/4 of a banana while I'm driving I put 3/4 banana...

Others said that to me but mfp did give me 1000 calories at first. Even at 1200 I was having trouble with no energy, sometimes couldn't even think straight.

Thanks. I "bonked" on a ride once and it scared me. Now I always take pouches of unsweetened applesauce, Gatorade and clif bars. Thanks Betty. I've been doing what's fun like biking and kayaking and not lifting weights. Guess I need to. Honestly it seemed like I went from underweight to overweight so fast I was confused and didn't really know what to do.

Yeah I love peanut butter but limit to not very often I thought. I do weigh it in g on digital scale. Again maybe I'm selecting the wrong entries because I don't take the time to scroll through them all, I pick the first one I see that looks right.

Ok thanks. When at home I weigh everything but at work will use measuring cup or spoon. Even when I weigh food I will pick a listing that is in cups or oz if it corresponds. Maybe I have to create my own food listings, not pick ones already in the system? Yes we do eat out a lot because of travel, I will log best I can.…

Made my diary public, can you see it? At first mfp told me to eat 1000 cal a day, that didn't work so I upped it to 1200. Even on days I rode bike 2 hrs, was not eating back exercise cals. Then started eating more like 1500 on days I ride hard.

Unhgoose and Kate... I am up in weight too. Discouraging. Ate perfectly I thought for 8 out of past 9 days and up a pound. I am getting more exercise though... Y'all think that's what it is? I'm going to hang in there... Weight today 167 - lychee can you please put in for me? Thanks.

Thanks all. I went into my goals on mfp and I had selected lightly active. I clicked it so I could read the descriptions and even though I didn't change lightly active it changed my calls to 1200. Weird. But 1200 seems more doable.

Yes, do it! Own it. I never wore a bikini til last year when I was 42. Trying to get back there before this summer. I live in Florida and see all kinds, even great big girls in bikinis. I say just do it!
