Doctors are throwing around "pre-diabetic" like it's going out of style. It's border line a scam. If your over weight just lose some and all is good. Oh and I am a diabetic

I am not familiar with either work out but coming from a male hockey player losing 10 pounds or whatever your goal is will make a huge difference on the ice as far as speed and your first few strides

dont worry about it. doctors love tossing out "pre-diabetic" 114 is awful even if you were fasting. drop some weight and I can almost be certain your numbers will be fine

funny thing is it feels much different this time around. maybe because its only 15 pounds.

when I lost 50 pounds everyone was saying I was to skinny but i didnt see it I still felt chunky at times. well after all the skinny talk I put on 15 pounds and was miserable lol. I am back at it now using how my clothes fit as a measuring stick

SW-190 ish CW- 145 GW-??? I got down to 137 but i didnt like the way my face looked . I had a goal to have a 6 pack but at 137 i had a good 2 pac and barely visable 4 pac. I may try again over the winter

First off don't panic If she looses som weight and backs off on the carbs that will help and if need be her doctor will put her on meds. I am type 2 myself and exercise and diet has lowered my a1c

People ask me all the time how I lost my weight. When I say get a food scale and use it the don't want any part of it lol

i go once in awhile. The artisan grilled chicken is tasty 360 cals. add a small fry for 230 cals = 590 cals I can fit that in once in awhile

I lost 50 pounds and turn 50 in March. I traded in my older Harley for a newer one!

i do my best work over the winter and got to my goal around Memorial day now I will maintain for the summer and might try to lose a couple more in the fall. I still eat 250 below my TDEE during the week. this gives me some wiggle room on weekends. If I maintain or gain a couple I am ok with that.

I am almost 50 and lost 50 pounds in 10 months. I Eat at a calorie defecit, play ice hockey twice a week and lift 2 days a week. Consistantcy was the key for me. Its a healthy diet for anyone. I think when people hear Diabetic diet the think its a no carb type of thing. I am type 2 and off my meds due to weight loss and exercise. I have in the past and currently eat carbs including bread fruit pasta.
