Thank you. That makes sense. I may think about upping a little more on the days I exercise to reach the calorie goal. Particularly as whilst I want to lose a few lbs my main aim is to be fitter and healthier. Too much dieting could ruin that! I'm looking at long term benefit rather than short term. Thanks Thanks everyone. In reality I'm eating about 1500 a day with the exercise and just a few days lower. Feel great so will keep going as it is.. Long live the Vegetable!

48years 5ft8 141lbs. Agree that it's low but happy to lose less. I am new to exercise as well so am eating most of them back. Finding it good just have to be sensible on a rest day. Sorry to be so thick but do you mean the oats just sit in the liquid and at no stage do you heat it up? That sounds so easy. Any seafood other than tinned tuna. So wish I did but the smell and taste makes me feel sick. I can't tell you how many chickens I get though on a holiday when my partner eats nothing but fish. Also any fat on meat.

I actually missed breakfast this morning , naughty I know but had a really long sleep. I like a slice of wholemeal bread with sliced banana and a little bit of honey on. Otherwise I tend to have porridge and fruit.

That's a very good point about not getting too much moisture as I particularly don't like the over soggy coleslaws. Thank you for such great ideas.

It did the same for me I was on 1130 on my iPad. I changed my goal to half a pound instead which I feel more comfortable with.

Don't have biscuits, crisps or cake in the house..if it's not there I can't be tempted. Healthier for the kids too :) Always have salad and fruit in the fridge. I reset to .5 lb a week and I am now on 1380. This feels far more in a comfortable range for me. I hope that with the extra excercise I will lose nearer a lb anyway, thanks everyone.
